Hasselbeck threw 3 interceptions and they got a TD from one.
14-0 after the first quarter, i thought we would only extend that.

Its ridiculous, Hasselbeck is usually such a reliable player, but just hasn't been throwing right lately, i hope he comes good soon - we need to get off the mark, i cant stand the (0-2) next to our name

I think its due to the utter dross that has been bought in, and the sale/release of a couple of key players (DJ Hackett, Shaun Alexander, Josh Brown)

Alexander was a one-season wonder, as shown by his awful season last year. I can't actually remember who in particular, but I'm pretty sure your squad is quite injury ravaged.

 

That is true about Alexander if i am honest, but we are getting a bit desperate.

Some quality players in there, and it shows how much we need them back.

Something that the_ivam and I discussed, swung it past Fitzy earlier and there were no objections.

Indeed, while two of your receiving corps are out Hasselbeck isn't going to be lighting up the performance boards, and while Tatupu and Trufant are injured you aren't going to be getting the ball back much.

 

I really hope you all get to see the MNF game. I will be remembered as a classic game, down to the wire. I won't give it away but let me know what you think of my man Desean Jackson's move. You'll know what I mean when you see it.

Very good game though, watched the highlights this morning over breakfast.

Good KO return from Felix Jones and some great long receptions out there from wideouts on both sides.

 

I think Desean was just a little bit full of himself with his ONE GOOD GAME as a pro under his belt. I hope he realizes the stupidity of his move and the attitude that brought it to life and checks his head, gets his mind together and WORKS HARD to reproduce the success that got him there rather than acting like a jackass. I really like the kid, but if he keeps doing crap like that...

 

I record the sunday and monday night games, get up at 5 in the morning the following day and watch as much as possible before school. For some reason my sky+ stopped recording with a couple of minutes left of the fourth quarter, but it had gone a bit stale by then and I could see where it was going eagles-wise. What makes it more grating is that an eagles win would have seen me joint top of the predictions. Still broke a hundred in my fantasy league though.

Regarding Desean, I saw his antics in the High School All Star game a few years a go where he did a swanny from the five and fumbled at he one. He seems to be a bit of a prat, and he didn't seem to have the greatest hands, dropping a couple of catchable passes. Still, he's young and potentialarific.

 

I completely forgot. We can post ours and not count them if nobody else does.

My principle to always bet against the Pats has payed off. It's just my other principle to always bet against the Cowboys that is holding me back.
