This is only for football league clubs. This has been a ******* shambles and the club should be horrified. We spent the first part of the summer offering Gray and Okaka to anyone that would listen, yet now we've decided to risk our premier league future on them. We offered Britos a new contract to try and get a fee for him and now we're stuck with him, same with Holebas. Club has been run pathetically, as made clear by bidding for about 100 players on loan today once it was too late. Even if we made the signings somehow now, the disorganisation is horrendous. We will get what we deserve this season.
Noel Hunt is number 100 on the list, between Joe Garner and Uche Ikpeazu. Last I heard we were going for Le Fondre on loan.
Absolutely awful. It amazes me that there are some still insistent on acting like this transfer window hasn't been a complete disaster. We are 100% going to be right in the relegation battle now and I expect we will go down.
Based on the line up last week only one new outfield player willl start - not sure what that says about the ones we have signed ?! I know GD is injured ...

Navarro, Sema and Masina were clearly cheap, hopeful punts, and I'm really not sure Navarro was necessary at all. If Masina isn't good enough to start ahead of Holebas then he is an absolute dud. Hopefully that doesn't prove to be the case, but it will say a lot of Holebas starts on Saturday.
Plus we have Pellegrino/Karanka/Pepe Mel/Juande Ramos MkII in charge. Strikers who can't score and a tactical setup that doesn't incite goals... can't wait.

Not really, I just won't happy clap along and pretend like we've done what we needed to do when we have failed to strengthen our two glaringly obvious weak areas. I was very happy and positive about the signing of Deulofeu, the others could still come good, but that doesn't change the fact that we have serious problems up front and at centre back, does it?
Club is being run pathetically? Really? You may not agree with them on players bought in but that statement is simply not true. If we had let Holebas go who would play at left back if Masina got injured. Our support has become what a lot of people feared it would become when promoted to the EPL. Spoilt

Juve have been trying to move the Italian international on all summer, and it was reported this morning that a deal had been struck with Watford. However, with Sturaro ready to fly out to England this afternoon, Premium Sport reports that the deal has collapsed. The Hornets were only willing to offer a straight loan deal, while the Bianconeri wanted at least an option to buy for €18m. With the Premier League transfer deadline to close at 17.00 UK time, there isn’t time to resurrect the deal. Sturaro will therefore have to find another club, with Fiorentina, Genoa and Sporting CP all interested.
Trouble is all our decent players seem to get injured .. Well 3 already are . Even Hughes went off last week with a knock . I think the defence and midfield is good if they do stay fit though .. Up front - well we could do with 1 or 2 more .

I don't think you are even convincing yourself here pal. I turn quicker than Prodl, and Mapps is so far off the tactical level required to be a premier league centre back - as much as I do love the guy. Imagine one our forwards gets injured then what? Someone is claiming they've seen Bas Dost at the grove on twitter. Favour to pull out of Sturaro?
I don’t need convincing - I said a week ago I am a fan of stability here. Our squad is strong, we need less injuries, more discipline (evidenced by the shape the players have come back in), and maybe even the supporters onside. All of the moaning is just the modern entitled football fan. I’ll say again, we’ve spent the 10th most IN EUROPE over the last four years at a net level. There is no penny pinching going on, but the line has to be drawn somewhere.
What everyone needs to learn is that the club is immune to criticism and no one should ever, ever be allowed to question or criticise anything or be disappointed with any aspects of the way the club is run, because look how far we've come etc. etc. if it wasn't for the Pozzo's etc. etc. punching above our weight etc. etc. Deeney's lost half an ounce etc. etc. If you think we've had a poor transfer window and don't believe the squad is strong enough for this level then you are a terrible fan and person. Fact.
We’ve spent the 10th most in europe over the last 10 years. And we have these defenders and these strikers to show for most of it. Maybe they aren’t penny-pinching but that certainly shows they’ve been very naive in a lot of transfer deals. Taking all this into account and this transfer window as well it leads me to think one thing has to change as a priority. Get rid of Giraldi and get a Director of Football who is far better at identifying the needs and requirements of the First XI.
The majority of that money has gone from Pozzo to Pozzo or to that weird Belgian agent. We've made very few decent signings since going up. You enjoy stability whilst everyone else improves, we'll be stable in the Championship.
It’s more that I just believe we should get on with it. We’ve been rumoured before about trying to buy players which have turned out to be rubbish so I don’t believe it until we get much further down the line. I would have loved Alcacer to have come here but we have no idea how far it got. The fact this whole squad has been together for the whole of pre season may well help us
