Yeah I think that was just the embargo delaying the formal confirmation of done deals. Certainly it was a marked improvement on the year before!

 

Faraoni, Fabbrini, Angella and Acuna were on the pre-season tour to Italy I think. Iriney, Belkalem and Brown came afterwards. We did do the majority early but obviously there are suggestions that we didn't use pre-season very well

 

Get Vydra early and there's still time to sell him for an enormous profit to Leicester when they start to panic they haven't yet recruited.

Sometimes signings are made but not announced. I've known this to take 5/6 weeks

Went on international duty but it seemed fairly close. Played apparently but hope no scouts noticed! If he signs it will have been an excellent start to the improvement required

 

I don't know how it wouldn't happen. He's been open about wanting to stay, the manager has said how important he is, and Genoa don't seem likely to be desperate to keep him.

I'm not worried.

 

Signing Tozser should be number one on the priority list. Not signing clowns like Dyer and Gomes FFS

Of course Tozser is an important part of next years jigsaw but not concluding that deal because he is with his national team is not linked to strengthening the goalkeeping and winger departments
