LOL, you're right. I almost forgot his fixation about having to SPEND on transfer fees. Well, he'll certainly be present to say "I told you all it's a disaster!" like a modern Cassandra in the shoutbox in the first match we'll be losing.
Were the occasions where you mocked anyone who believed there might be a chance of Vydra returning a joke, too? Or just rash & benign negativity again? Rhetorical question, btw, as you're on my ignore list now for being tiresome & dull. Sorry hater.
No, I meant all of that. Although I wasn't so much mocking them for discussing the possibility of Vydra coming back - though admittedly I didn't actually expect him to re-sign - but more the constant reviving of the thread when there wasn't actually anything serious to be discussed at the time, and the tedious, played-out, in-jokes. Also, I'm not really sure why you've even bothered to tell me you've put me on your ignore list, as if I could honestly give even the tiniest, microscopic f**k that some nobody on an internet forum will no longer be reading my posts.
If you were to look up the phrase 'font of knowledge', there would just be a picture of Sherlock's avatar with his name above it.
What a bitter pill to take. Ffs, we need to be spending money!!!! on ENGLISH players smh. Not getting foreign players who haven't played a whole season in years. Another loan too, bet he wot even get a full preseason. Everything that's wrong with modern football.
Well tax avoidance anyway. That, and I don't think the Pozzos want all of our players coming from Udinese/Grenada in case the rules change. I remember murmurings about limiting the amount of players from one club. Especially when the big clubs pull out their big lawyers, when little profit making club Watford finish above them in the table.
When I were a lad, t'club would just blinkin' BUY a player. There were none of this new-fangled fancy-pants two-season-long loan nonsense. But try telling that to kids these days, & they won't believe you.
Getting Tozser for two seasons is more than worth the embargo and points deduction we're going to get for this in a few years.
Here's his first interview since coming back. Some very positive words, as you may expect, but still good to read. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/140708-tozser-interview-1726646.aspx

''Doesn't the person who owns Watford also own Parma? This is probably no more than a way of getting around FFP. Cheating if you like.'' hahaha
They seem very well informed......"Doesn't the person who owns Watford also own Parma? This is probably no more than a way of getting around FFP. Cheating if you like. " Wait until we are sitting at the top of the league.....the volume will be on full blast then......although if we flop, there won't even be a mention.......funny that.
When he discovers his ring has disappeared ? This squad is shaping up rather nicely. No excuse for falling by the wayside this season despite the presence of the relegated clubs and the arrival of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Well Done to Nani and others for their hard work behind the scenes on this one. It sounds as if a lot of effort has gone in to getting Tozser. Good work. Undoubtedly a class player, on and off the field, who will help us greatly next season. I'm sure his lesser form towards the end of last season was due to fatigue and that he will be a real asset to us. He actually seems to want to play for us too, which is a good start!
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._the_Pozzos__contact_list_is_helping_Watford/ This is a decent explanation of what actually happened. Bottom line is "we got what we wanted". It does give rise to a few issues. Lets say he has the most unbelievable start to the season and some money bags club offers £6m for him in January. Who makes the decision to sell? Presumably Parma and Watford would have to come to some mutually beneficial arrangement. Alternatively, there may be some clause in the contract between Parma and Watford which takes into account such contingencies. Anyway, this seems to be a great deal for us.
He explained: “I heard there was some interest from a Championship team and a team that went into the Premier League last season. “I know the other teams that were interested in me but I don’t think it is right for me to talk about who they were. “That is in the past. One of the teams were in the play-offs last season, but I don’t want to say more than this.” Interesting, turned down a promoted team - QPR maybe?
That's laughable about interest from another championship team as well as one that went up. Who the FCK do these tin pot clubs think they're dealing with here?
The guy clearly wants to play in the Premier League but didn't even want to listen to an offer from a Premier League club because he loves Watford so much. Gives you a nice feeling in your pants that doesn't it?
He'd probably still be on some Italian team's bench if it wasn't for the Pozzos. Now he's fallen in love with our club like so many before him.
Is it because he loves the club so much, or is it because he has a well-known, friendly face here in Daniel Pudil? Probably a bit of both. Whatever it is, I think we should thank Pudil here quite a bit, because if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have got Tozser here in the first place and I think we wouldn't have got Vydra back either.
Depends on the term of our loan deal; if the parent club doesn't have the right to recall him, then anyone buying him can't recall him from us. A sale won't invalidate the legal terms of our loan. Our loan runs through to the end of his Parma contract and we then have a year option we can take up to sign him directly, so I honestly think we're pretty safe.
