On the subject of "bangin' choonz", let's not forget the fathers (and mother) of modern electronic music:

Probably my favourite track of all time.

'Low Life' is a better album (just...) imo.

Saw them live for the first time this summer, they were fantastic (even without Hooky). 'Temptation' was just awesome.

Played this at half time at Elland Road when we were 2-0 down

    We ended up winning 3-2

I reckon it was this tune.

Followed by the wonderful Going Down To Liverpool. Suzanna Hoffs is absolutely stunning - she must be pushing 60. Edit. She's 60. F**k.

    Top tunes Horace.

Pretty much anything by Dire Straits. I think Knoffler is a genius (both of the brothers are). Mark never over plays but gets a complex yet melodic sound.

And Evernescence. The depth of sound is testament to great songwriting and sound engineering.

Some people don't get Floyd. A colleague of mine said he was forever waiting for the intro to finish.

For me, "Wish you were here" , "Dark side of the moon" , and "The wall" are incredibly intelligent albums.

    I'll stop there.

    Just too many.

In general I thought music died in the mid 80’s giving birth to the abhorrent travesty that was Stock Aitkin and Waterman

    Subjective!

The Nizlopi one does remind me of going to work with my dad when he was a multi drop driver.

Might be a little weak as a tune but still holds memories.
