Well we learnt some things tonight, leaving a side the sending off, Watson is not the player that most people on here thought he was, he can't tackle and Layun is to slow and can't defend, Parades is a better defender than him plus it was also confirmed what I have said all along that Hoban is not good enough

Few points I made from watching on sky:

Never a red in a million years, such a shame.
Pudil should have been sent off.
How did Callum wilson constantly get away with shoving our players about?
Both sets of fans came across well and loud.
The sky commentators were basically creaming themselves over Bournemouth who in my opinion, were decent but nothing special.

Referee played his part but come on that second goal that killed the game is all our fault.

    Ball came in too easily

    Pudil in no man's land.

    Hoban shrugged off so easy.

Wrong sub too. Should've taken off Watson for Vydra not Ighalo.

I can judge that they are the top scorers in all four leagues and have routinely battered a lot of the sides in the championship. Anyone calling them mediocre is bitter in the wrong direction tonight.

Right, not the best time to comment(straight after final whistle)but here goes.
Referee was pretty dire, never a red card, penalty was stonewall, foul on Munari was a yellow(not red) a few niggly fouls which went unpunished and Pudil should have been red carded but didn't even get a yellow!!
Great effort from the 10 men(maybe with the exception of Tozser whos been poor for weeks now), a lot of huff & puff but not a lot of end product which is understandable, but the first thing I'd do on sunday at training is working on defending crosses. The amount of goals we concede or chances we give away from crosses is scary.
Finally, I think tonight showed how poor this seasons championship is with regards to quality with the fact that a very average Bournemouth are three points clear at the top, and that's not sour grapes its what I've seen this season.

Pudil was poor, but with a third centre back he wouldn't have had to step in to cover.

Hmmmm, I disagree. We were at sixes and sevens every time a ball came in from wide. Bournemouth were quite routine in their attacking pattern, but it undid us time and again, as we allowed their width to cause us issues. Obviously we're entitled to struggle as we were a man down, but I don't think we can say we had a great defensive performance.

It was more the way they handled the situation. I thought they looked nervous even though for the most part they were in control. I'm not saying we'll finish above them but do not be surprised to see them in the playoffs.

I think Bournemouth may struggle when other teams figure out how to play against them, like we did under Zola. I reckon you cut off their wide men, you stop them playing.

I believe the nagging from Bournemouth players convinced the ref to make an embarrassingly poor decision. Shameful. Time for a long spell in non league for Lee.

Wasn't my point. It was me disagreeing with your 352 point.

Re: tonight, I'm utterly despondent. Completely lost for words through sheer anger. Well done Lee Probert, hope you're proud of yourself.

I really like to see the homegrown players in the team but I'm sorry to say Tommy Hoban really should have got something on the cross that led to their second. We need 2 CBs not one, so we can integrate Tommy H more steadily. Oh and by the way I won't stop calling for defenders who can frigging defend until I don't see the team make 5 calamitous errors in defence for at least 5 games in a row.

The Bournemouth fans are being incredibly cocky about winning considering the circumstances. I still think Derby are the best side I've seen this season by far.

100% agree re the Bournemouth players which is why I wish this was an automatic bookable offence. If memory serves correct, the Bournemouth player ran straight up to the ref saying he was clear through (which he wasn't). The ref allowed himself to be talked into that sending off.

****ing infighting on here, ****ing referees, ****ing bull****, all of it.

Had enough of football to be honest.

Only solace is the support tonight. Every second being a part of it was a joy. **** the rest of it, waste of ****ing time.

Well why did they put anya at fullback in the second half, because Pugh was walking around Layun in the first

    That's just tosh.

Norwich did a far better job of taking us apart when we had 10 men from the start of the game.

As strange as it may sound, the reason people are critical of Bournemouth is because they legitimately don't rate them. Based on what I saw tonight I expect both Derby and Boro to pass them before the season is out, and possibly us if we bounce back from this. We're not a particularly good team defensively and yet they created very little in a 90 minute game versus 10 men.

Bad team? No. Mediocre team with a bit of luck? Yes. In fairness luck can take you a long way in this league, but it doesn't make you good. Derby fans are questioning the result/ref performance/Bournemouth performance too, and they certainly don't have cause to be bitter over the result.

Ooh I have a fan club. You can be the chairman!

Peoples opinions change when situations change.

Joka was boring, uninspiring & had a lack of an identity.

He's now shown balls, spoken out on many occasions about poor attitude and shown personality.

    Quite simple really. :)

You're comparing a Norwich game 3-4 games in vs a Bournemouth side, who 30 games in have proven themselves to be a very capable side, and I repeat, top scorers in all four leagues. And Bournemouth are 11 points ahead of a Norwich squad that cost a great deal more to assemble.

It's just plain bitterness, your post makes it seem even more so.

I'm actually quite pleased that a small club like Bournemouth manage to achieve what they do. Making the likes of Leeds, Forest and Wednesday look silly. We should empathise with that. Howe is an excellent manager who has made some shrewd signings and got a team ethic going. Good luck to them.

I was never happy with Boothroyd's 'manage the game' spiel, but he has a point. Callum Wilson is like Deeney in that he's all upper body strength and quick feet but twice now against us he's gone down like a suck of spuds the moment he realised he wasn't going to capitalise on getting to the ball first initially. We could really do with a few players who have some nous, both at the back and at the front. The honesty and naivety is one legacy of Zola that is not serving us well.

And I have no praise for the opposition, hounding the red at every oppotunity.

    **** them. Hope they burn.

Bournemouth have been awarded the most amount of penalties in the league - 10, they have conceded 1.
