    AFC Bournemouth Vs. Watford FC

    Live on Sky Sports 1

Friday evening will bring one of the biggest games of the Sky Bet Championship season. Sixth placed Watord trail current leaders Bournemouth by 4 points. With 19 games of the Sky Bet Championship remaining ANYTHING could happen.

Both teams' ambitions of promotion make for a good match however the game turns into a more salivating prospect when you consider that Dean Court (or The Goldsands Stadium if you like) is to host the two highest scoring teams in the whole of the Football League. You can understand why Sky picked this game to be televised!

Hmm, what kit will we wear?

Are Reading really that local to Bournemouth??

How Bournemouth started against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.

    01 Camp
    15 Smith
    05 Elphick
    03 Cook
    14 Harte
    19 Stanislas
    16 MacDonald
    32 O'Kane
    08 Arter
    20 Fraser
    18 Kermorgant

    Opposition Key Man: Eddie Howe

Bournemouth's rise under Howe has been dramatic. Since taking charge at the club the 37 year old has guided them from the bottom of League Two to the top of the Championship, albeit with an unsuccessful spell at Burnley in the middle.

Didn't Bournemouth lose to Norwich, Leeds and Villa recently? They are not in good form!

Three at the back for me, flood the midfield keeping Arter and their full backs quiet and bash em on the break.

Ignore the Villa result, they used a second string team almost.

Too much is made of that imo, sure they made 8 changes but they were all professional Bournemouth players! Conceding 2 goals at Villa doesn't say much about them, changes or not.

Bournemouth are done, this is our season, 0-4 Watford.

Eddie Howe currently holds that poisoned chalice ManagerOTM.

Eddie Howe is being hyped by all the media as the next big English manager - ready for a fall.

Their current form is not good - see first and second points.

They are under the 'top of the league, we can't f*** it up' pressure.

We are banging in goals, have a good away record and full of confidence - they have to concerned by our strike force.

We have a Serbian head coach master tactician who looks at you like you owe him money.

Our 'second half' team will turn up in the first half and stay for the duration of the game.

We will win this and I will down a few to celebrate.

I think Vydra is about to hit another scoring streak. I'll go conservative:

    Bournemouth 1-34 Watford

Vydra, Deeney, Layun, Ighalo (31); Bournemouth's goal also Ighalo.

I can't wait for Friday night.

I really don't know which way this will go because our form is quite literally unreadable.

However - it really feels like a make or break match - a bit like that one against Leicester which was on TV close to the end of the the season we made the play offs two years ago. I could barely watch that one and I'll barely be able to watch this one but that's what we support a football team for, right?

    Bournemouth 2, Watford 4.

Close run for 75-80 minutes, with Deeney and Munari goals keeping us on level terms. Ighalo nudges us in front with about ten minutes to go, before Tozser puts the game out of Bournemouth's reach with a stinging free kick.

That's nonsense. Just a single change can make a world of difference. Eight changes is practically a different team.

This could be our drunkest following for years with the amount of people down early afternoon and staying over, should be liverier than last years trip.

  16. When we click we are unbeatable in this division - on a whole other level than any team (inlc. Bournmouth), when we don't we're 5hit.

I honestly have no idea which Watford will turn up week to week... including this one.

That's what we thought before Palace wiped the floor with us in the P/O final. Bournemouth aren't top just by luck and we will have to "click" for the whole 90 minutes, just then will we get a result. Otherwise it could be a long evening.

Surely the play-off final falls under the "when we don't we're 5hit" part of La_t's post?

Can't see anything past a Bournemouth win, they have had a blip in form however their wing play will cause us too many problems. We can't line up 3-5-2 against them as they will exploit the gaps behind Paredes and Anya. We need cover for our wing backs or we are looking at a loss.

If we come out and start like we did against Fulham we have a chance, if we start like the game on Saturday we don't.
However with that said Bournemouth are not special, a terrific run and undoubtedly young talented yet naive manager.
Playing a half string side and mounting another defeat does not breed confidence in the team. For me a shocking decision at Villa, ok it's the cup but it doesn't matter, it still showes weakness.
Watford are full of confidence, a great time to play an over achieving yet average quality Championship side.
    1-4 the orns

V good point. If we play 3 5 2 against them we could be in trouble on the wings as they play with 2 attacking fullbacks and 2 wingers. Our wing backs could be in for a tough night.

Hopefully SJ will have a decent solution.

A single change can also make no difference at all. Over a season Bournemouth will have made way more than 8 changes in their league games alone. So have we. It's why you have a squad.

Besides, rotating like they did and losing puts even more pressure on their manager to get right on Friday. I think this is the night when Eddie Howe finally breaks down and loses the plot.

If the extra defender does his job I'm really not too worried. Numbers and our threat of pace through the middle will keep their defence pinned back, fullbacks included.

4-3-3 or 4-4-2 seems to work in our favour atm, judging by recent results. 3-5-2 if they don't press much.

    3-4-3 will relegate us.

    Sweeping statement there.

3-4-3 played properly is a joy to behold however you'd need world class players to play it against a midfield five, even if it's only Blackpool. And however we are never going to use it against a side as strong as Bournemouth unless we're already chasing the game with just minutes to go.

Vydra in the hole doesn't work but Forestieri would.
