Not surprisingly WFC are appealing the red card decision - I know that would mean Angella was available next weekend, it does nothing to the outcome of last Friday's game. Who knows what would have happened if we'd kept 11 on the pitch for the whole game - Pudil, probably wouldn't have been introduced and we'd have carried on playing a 3-5-2 instead of having to go 4-3-2 for 90+ minutes.

Hopefully the team will recognise the injustice and get fired up for the remainder of the season - you never know last Friday could be the catalyst to push on and get the job done!

The FL don't like us as we made them change rules and stuff, and we still find a way round them. The Premier League don't want the focus of a team taking players from sister clubs, the press hate us because we don't spend millions on crappy players.

    What's tough to understand?

Lets be honest if there was another team doing what we'd do some on here wouldn't be too impressed but yes many a team are breaking the rules or trying to gain an edge be it on or off the pitch.

Football must be one of the most immoral businesses around...

Bournemouth fans now seem to genuinely think they're signing Deeney tomorrow. What a bunch of ******ed football fans.

Wrong. They don't pay for theirs with a Russian bloke's money because they can't. FFP regulations are now in full effect and a rich owner can no longer bankroll a club...hence why they're 20 million in debt with a 9-10k attendance.

It's clear we get an advantage from our shared ownership situation; only an idiot would say otherwise. The point is that we're not breaking any rules in the process (FFP) and we're not risking the club's future to do it.

If Bournemouth do a 2012/2013 Leicester this year, they're in the brown stuff. If we don't go up this year, we'll be absolutely fine. We're FFP compliant, they're not. The situations are hardly comparable.

Bournemouth are gambling with their club's future with their reckless business practices, which is nothing like what is going on with us. Given their low attendances they have almost zero chance for recovery if it goes pear shaped.

We pay for ours with some Italian blokes money. Some Italian bloke that has successfully run top flight sides in Italy and Spain. Some Italian bloke that wont run off at the first sign of trouble and leave us in league 2

Thanks - I genuinely enjoyed the irony of your post although sadly I don't think you did it deliberately.

Most of that's true but they did announce in December that they've been cleared of any FFP wrongdoing. Doesn't clear their debt though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they did. For sure some of the blogs assumed it as theirs wasn't one of the three named clubs but I distinctly read somewhere that the promoted league 1 clubs hadn't even been looked at by then.

I'm useless at posting links (don't know if this phone can do it) but googling it gives two quotes from Jeff Mostyn (Chairman) and Jason Tindall (Asst. Manager) in mid-December welcoming the fact they'd passed the tests. Both attributable to the Bournemouth Daily Echo.

The same references also say, like you, that Blackburn, Forest and Leeds failed and are now subject to restrictions on their operations.

But I guess you could still be right!

  12. Didn't Bournemouth lost £15mn last year? Does that not count against FFP?

Also, what's this about their supporters thinking they're signing Troy?!

Was just listening to Graham Poll on Talksport. He says Angella's, sending off was ridiculous and that Probert is one of those that like to show the "big I am" (he should know), particularly in the Championship, and that he wouldn't have made the same decision in the Prem.
