To be fair mate I just found it funny as I looked down the thread your comment about Torries was the newest one then about 2 posts later I found out he scored.

    Saw this on BBC:

"What an extraordinary game. Astonishing. Sensational composure from Torres. Makes me proud to be English."- should someone tell him that torries is spanish, their other goal scorer was Brazilian, the ENGLISH captain got sent off

To be honest the biggest result in my eyes tonight was Bolton's.Whos up for a trip to Villa Park next season in front of 18000 fans?

And Luton could only draw at Gateshead so a defeat at Fleetwood on Saturday and a win for Kiddesminster means they'll finish outside of the play-offs.

Chelsea's players have been just as guilty of diving over the two legs.

    Fantastic game of football.

Can't believe I was cheering Chelsea on and celebrating when Torres scored at the end; I'm meant to hate them with an absolute passion.

Because they were underdogs and you don't want the boring idea of Barcelama getting to the final again.

Chelsea defended better when Terry was sent off I thought.

Barca seemed to lack ideas 2nd half.

What would happen to the 4th Champions league spot if Chelsea win the whole thing!

"£50m for Fernando Torres?! Worth every penny!"... Erm, not really, they were going through regardless of that goal.

Barcelona are so one dimensional it's painful at times but fair play to Chelsea. Glad ultimate c*nt Terry will be missing it.

It means that whoever gets it, will get europa league instead. Hugely unfair on Newcastle in my opinion if they reach 4th place, but there you go.

The commentators on talksport were saying how frightened barca's back 4 looked whenever Chelsea played the ball long and direct.

Exactly this. I got invited up the pub by a couple of Chelsea supporting mates, and when Torres scored it was the wildest I've seen a pub crowd go since England v Belgium in 1990. Unbelievable Jeff.

Also had a fiver on a penalty being given at 3.5's :drinking:.

Same! Incredible scenes. Pub had greek tv on (I have no idea why) and 5Live commentary playing. The commentary was 2 seconds ahead so to prevent that with the Torres goal, everyone just screamed to drown them out! Unbelievable Jeff doesn't even go close, what a night of football!

Legendary bit of commentary from Gary Neville for the Torres goal.

Wasn't too bothered what happened but found myself laughing hysterically at Barcelona when Torres scored.

Not entirely down to them but the way they're portrayed as footballing titans from the planet Zarg (where they currently sit 6th having played 2 more games than anyone else) does get a tad tiresome.

Chelsea skipper John Terry on his red card which will rule him out of the Champions League final: "It does look bad on the replay. I raised my knee but hopefully the people out there who know me, know I'm not that kind of player.

Someone in the pub said Terry won't even get a medal if Chelsea win. If true then that's fantastic.

I was born in Chelsea, always had a soft spot for them so delighted they won. Also hate Barca, don't get why everyone creams themselves over Barca!
Agree about Neville, he provides honesty, real tacticall knowledge and has a good sense of Humor!
Also you'd think Barca would practice high balls being launched at them in training!?

and he also said.. "I feel as though I let them (team-mates) down. I have apologised to them and I apologise to the Chelsea fans. At the time I was bewildered, But looking at the replay it looks a red card. On a personal note, of course (it hurts I miss the final). But we deserve to be in the Champions League final. I really hope that doesn't take away from this win."

Personally i feel its a shame that a player who has played a pivotal role in them getting this far, misses the final (as with the others that are gong to miss out)

    Well done Chelsea!

What a game, my hate for Chelsea has suddenly disappeared after that. Drogba was immense and what a finish from Ramires.

He certainly is. I am sure I said something along the lines of I won't bother watching any games with him commentating before he started but he is actually very good at his job. He says it like it is without being patronising and despite being a former United player, is not stuck up anyone's behind like Gray was.

By the way, despite what he said, Terry is that kind of player. Think first leg, grabbing an injured Puyor on the wrist at a set piece, that was believed to be broken

Yeah.. daft to do that but he's not the first to loose his head on a football pitch.. and he wont be the last.

I always support English sides in Europe and want to see Chelsea field their strongest 11 in the final. Even if that includes having a 'moron' on the pitch!

Stupid thing for Terry to do, but what a performance from everyone else in a Chelsea shirt on the pitch. Exceptional goal from Ramires, especially considering the circumstances. Chelsea set themselves up perfectly to hold the one-goal lead whilst also actually carrying a real threat on the break. Di Matteo has done a fnatastic job these past two games against Barca, and fully deserves the job permanently. After seeing the way they played last Wednesday, and then seeing Barca lose to Real, I had a really good feeling that Chelsea would get through this evening. I thought it'd probably be a 0-0 or even maybe a 1-0 Chelsea, but yeah, something about the last run of games made me just think it'd be Chelsea's night tonight. Definitely thought I was wrong when Cahill and Terry both went off and Barca went 2-0 up haha. Fair play to them.

Also, did anyone else catch the moment that Ivanovic was told he wouldn't be playing in the final. Poor guy! Looked like he was about to break down. The interviewer was probably a little blunter than he had to be haha.

Geoff Shreeves was on a serious roll tonight.

He destroyed Ivanonic on live TV and reminded Terry that he wouldn't be able to make amends for his penalty miss in Moscow.

I'm surprised he didn't demand to interview Meireless and Ramires just to make sure they knew they were suspended for the final as well. Word is that he has spent tonight walking around the streets of Barcelona telling children that Santa isn't real.

Really glad Barcelona are out. The champions league isnt a cup which should be won year after year by the same team. Got a feeling it will be Bayern's year this time.

Just got back from the game. What an amazing match. The locals are going crazy about this and they can't believe it. How did Messi miss that penalty? Chelsea rode their luck massively but congratuations must go to them.

However they did it, they didn't lose to probably one of the best teams EVER, over two legs......with 10 men for 30 minutes!! It is just incredible. I'm a little gutted but I can see what a special occasion it was tonight.

Well done Chelsea, but a very bad week for Barca.

I know most are delighted that terry misses the final, but forget its him for a moment, how can I competition be set up do that so many of the first choice players miss the final? Depending on what happens tonight there could be close to 10 players missing the final through suspension. A cull after the semi's surely (at least for accumulation of yellows)?
