I remember when that lad, Cook I think it was?, was sold to QPR. That most WFC fans thought it was a disaster and I remember saying, don't worry guys we have a great youngster coming through who will more than replace him. That youngster was ASHLEY YOUNG
Lee "Judas" Cook Never had a decent game agaist us, our fans were on his back from the moment he walked onto the pitch and he couldn't handle it. we basically cut their team to 10 men by doing it.
One of your great moments mate for sure. Not quite up there with your invention of the question mark and being the first man on the moon, but close.
A question mark in Greek is; 99% of gargoyles look like Bob Todd. My Mother had a friend who was Bob Todd's first wife. None of them knew Ashley Young.
would be an excellent short term signing for next season, still the best set piece player i have seen in a watford shirt.
Didn’t he big league us and think he was set for the big time after joining QPR? That worked out well for him.
Just watched a video of him at Inter in the last couple of seasons, was really impressed by how good he is defensively - lots of blocks, last minute interceptions and tracking runners. Still has brilliant quality on the ball and could cover either full back or come on as an impact sub further up the pitch. And a proper set piece taker. Bring him home.
He played football at school with Lewis Hamilton. Maybe he can get Hamilton to drive the team bus. It would be quicker and cheaper than flying.
We don't want big Bazzlar out of a job now though do we?! https://www.instagram.com/bazzlar_watford_driver/
Basically. Although I don’t think they will. He’s been too vocal about coming home to Watford etc over the last few months. So I think there’s a good chance we see him in a Watford shirt next season.
Probably depend on if Conte promises first team football which will include another season in the Champions league rather than a relegation battle with 2/3 managers.
Live in Milan, venture round Europe to play Champions League, compete for trophies. OR Live in Hertfordshire, maybe go as far as South Wales for a wet Tuesday night cup tie, battle relegation.
No thanks. Celebrated by standing in front of the rookery and then cupped his ear to the rookery after he scored his second. Doesn’t give a **** about Watford
Couple of rumours flying around on Twitter now saying he has signed a 2 year deal. Think those transfer accounts are just guessing to be honest, but we will see.
Puts a bit of a different spin on it! 'I really want to come home to my boyhood club as I owe them so much and it would be the perfect end to my career. Well, as long as they're in the Premier League. And as long as my current team doesn't want me.'
