Should have a Serie A winners medal this season. I think he would be a great mentor to some of the younger players. A pity we could not have him this season down the left hand side of midfield and at set pieces.

Would have been good this season not sure about next, would be good to have someone that could take a set piece though. Still very athletic for his age and has played a little bit for Inter.
If he’s still getting in the Inter team we’d have to be pretty unlucky if all his fitness / ability deserted him over a few months. Has he been playing regularly for them? If so, would be a great signing no? Especially if we are still in the Champ. Versatile so that’s a massive help (as this season has shown).
He's played in 26 games this season. Not sure how many starts. Edit: only one full 90 mins in the league and two full games in Europe.

Wouldn't mind this in all fairness. Plenty of experience, good professional and obviously still has the club close to his heart. Be good to have cover in a few different positions.
A few months back it was reported that he actually want's to come back to WFC to end his career regardless of what division we are in. So I reckon he will almost certainly be with us next season no matter what, and even though he is 35 I think he will still be good enough be a regular 1st eleven starter too.

I reckon he could still have another 2 years in the P.L. For us, he has always looked after himself and is also not bad at football either!
Think Ash could still do a job , even as just a squad player and would be great to have someone who we know can actually score /assist from a free kick
