Also with Success cutting in from the left and Townsend the other side we would be a good attacking team next season, 8 million would be a bargain but then it was when he went to Newcastle so hopefully we get him this time.

Today was the first time I've watched him in a Newcastle shirt for a full match and he was awful.

Why would you be willing to pay anything at all for a player if he's really like this??

 

Because he has 4 goals in 11 matches for Newcastle, which would make him our 3rd top scorer in a team likely for relegation.
He had a terrible match yesterday, and I don't rate him that much but he has something the majority of our players don't, goals.

 

I was hoping we'd get him in January but if he's struggling to stand out in this Newcastle team then I'm not so sure.

 

But he has been there stand out player. Looks the most likely to create and score .

Been reading Newcastle forums today and yesterday, they don't really rate him actually

See him as a one trick pony but admit he is better than anything else they have right now. He seems to be their version of Gueds or Anya, i.e. a limited player who at least plays direct and tries to make things happen

 

Do they say what he's like in central midfield ?
