It doesn't. The trial is behind the scenes to see if they can cope with multiple games

The 100 percenters...…..hopefully it will only be Troy and Bobby P left standing after today.

Difficult test today. I imagine Mourinho will set up to match us formation wise and physically.

Something he's very good at doing. He'll see our threats and counter them well.

They might have to mix with common people, though, unless they borrow the Royal Train

If things stay as they are at Wembley we could well end the day winning our fifth league game on the trot at the start of a season and still not be in 1st place. That's a bit crazy when you think about it.

Shout out to the manc who got on the train at MK at 11.30 already 5 pints to the good and was gonna jump the barrier if he couldn't get a ticket.

I did inform Mr "I've done it at every ground I've been to" that the barriers go along the way up to the bricks at the top so unless he can scale a 15 ft wall then it may be a slight issue.

He did have £70 for a ticket should said attempt be unsuccessful but not sure what the going rate is for touts and imagine it's more than that!

If he jumps the barrier he may have Holebas to deal with, as he likes to welcome fans over a barrier. Mind you, Holebas is one for easy anger so this Manc better whatch out.

    On the bench:

    Gomes; Mariappa; Masina; Chalobah; Femenia; Sema; Success;

No space for Quina again - but for who?

Completely uninspiring lineup again . As with every game this season I have no confidence in a result today...

He’s somebody you’d like to see on the bench, simply because he appears to be the type of guy that could come and make something happen. That said, every sub selected makes sense and has performed well when called upon, which really serves to illustrate how well things have been going so far. I’d imagine that he’s one of the guys who are next in-line to be involved on match day when injuries and suspensions come into play. There’s still Deloufeu to come back as well, who you’d think would be involved pretty quickly once fit.

More problems when Geri comes back. Who's he going to replace? Sema? But he's barely had a chance.

If we'd played the whole match like we played the last 20 mins we would have won that.

Says a lot when Manure have to chuck on loads of defenders at time waste, to ensure their points.

I never in my life thought I could be this disappointed to lose to Manure 1-2.

    Bring on Fulham.

Ha, as I said before Fellaini would be very important for United in this game, and it turned out that he was very much the difference. It appears we had absolutely no plan to deal with him at set plays, which is disappointing and ultimately cost us.

Loving watching us play! And if we go a bit stale, we’ve got chalobah and Delofeu to come into it.

Defeat but well played! Except a maybe 15/20 minute spell in the first half we were more or less on top. Deserved a point for sure which is great considering when they scored two quick goals I feared the worse.

Unlucky to lose in the end. We threw it away in the first half within 3 minutes when we completely lost concentration, but we gave it a very good go in the second half. United weren't particularly good at any point in the game to me.

Still looking forward to having Deulofeu as an option as someone with genuine pace that will run at people out wide.

Disappointing to come away from that with nothing.

Poor first half from Doucoure. Kabasele for all that he's great, needs to start looking along the line a bit more.

Holebas seemed to have lost his range. God knows who it was he was yelling angrily at after pumping a dangerous free kick straight into the crowd. And another yellow received for dissent. Prefer Kiko to Janmaat I have to say. Lovely run into the box by Success at the end, shame it wasn't ended with a goal.

Ref seemed to give us very little. Biggest miss was the trip on Hughes. Was that inside the box? Commentators on my US stream were comically pro-United. They were unsurprised Deeney had been booked for a foul. Even when it was shown again in slow motion, they had no problem with the yellow card shown to Troy. Then they suddenly had to backtrack when they realised 5 mins later that it was actually Matic.
