Civ 5 is my guilty pleasure - finishing a game I start is another matter! Early game is loads of fun though

S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl. I forgot what a gem of a game this was. Just remember to patch it to 1.0006.

Do yourself a favour, buy a copy of COD Black Ops 2 for £10...as the new COD will invariably be the same and buy the Division in March.

Just had a look at The Division, does look good! Strange there is another Tom Clancy coming out considering Six Siege has just been released...

Six Siege looks good but it's only 5 v 5 and the shields would annoy me as you just charge and kill everyone. I might rent it to try it out.

Wish they would bring out a new COD that s based in WW2.

Quelling pan global nazi ism always gave me a warm feeling of moral superiority .

If anyone plays games with their kids can massively recommend RayMan for PS 4.

Gameplay is brilliant, looks fantastic, music is superb and it's very funny.

Help for a concerned parent (old git) please. My son wants 'Just Cause 3' which appears to involve some infantile humungous oaf blowing lots of things up. So far so good - it doesn't appear to be anything to get upset about and no more violent than TV. Just cartoonish violence for the lols.

What I don't want him to have is games with violent sexual content - all the reviews appear to have this down as safe in this regard. However when searching youtube for clips there appear to be quite a few unpleasant and odd humping or 'forced sex' scenes to view, albeit of poor quality.

Am I right to conclude that these were concocted by teenage masterbators in their rooms and don't actually feature anywhere in the real game as locked scenes or otherwise?

Just had a look at a couple of websites for you. the rating is M for mature. I don't play the game however judging by the comments the reason for the rating are as follows:

    blood splashes
    bikini
    dirty puns
    vulgar puns
    booze or cigar(ette)s
    Blood
    Intense Violence
    Strong Language

If you're ok with the above, then flesh shouldn't concern you too much.

    Some of the comments are:

"grapple people and blow sh!t up"

Cheers m8. Am I right that the alleged sex scenes on YouTube are user invented?

I assume this is the offending bit:

    [YT]watch?v=rsbDDY830nY[/YT]

Yeah it's fake because if you look at Rico he's in a 'pause' mode in that he's waiting for the player to control him.

You'll be fine, unfortunately the creator of the video has too much time on his hands.

Yep - there are a few like that.

Cheers, my mind can rest easy that he merely gets to kill people with a variety of huge weapons.

If it's an open Beta, then go to the Playstation Store and download it from there.

if it's a closed Beta, then you usually have to pre-order the game as I did with The Division (from Amazon) and they email you with the redeem code which you enter on the Playstation Store.

its a bit of a different sort of game to battlefront hornetgags. there is room for both of them in the market.

Fair enough, I've played the Division for a couple of hours and I really like it. It's definitely not one for the casual gamer, teamwork is essential.

yer exactly. battlefront is a very casual game. the sort I could play for an hour or so every now and then. the division requires a fair bit more commitment. that said I am looking forward to it. currently playing fallout 4, about 30h in and ive spent most of my time doing random fetch and carry missions. not sure what the hell I'm supposed to be doing in it tbh.

dom I havnt got a clue what I'm supposed to be even doing for the main mission? I had volume down when I started and subtitles off so I have not got the foggiest. Ive run into this guy who works for the minutemen and I'm apparently their leader. I live in a castle down by the sea, and I occasionally go looking in ruins for junk to give to some guys who run around in iron man suits.

oh yer my dog also wears a bandana.

no lol. i really haven't, I'm so bad at this game. if i made a youtube series on this people would literally be astonished at how random my play through has been. I've spent the last 45 minutes of gameplay sourcing tato's for a chap called alfred. have you done that one yet?
