   Have seen this suggested beforehand but wouldn't you just be shifting the same problem to the other side of the attacking player's body?! You'd still have all these crappy lines being drawn to decide if someone was onside by a millimetre.

   I gusss this is where the lack of communication comes into play ?
   
   We could be hearing the ref and VAR explaining why the penalty wasn't given due to the ball hitting Sliva first .
   
   People still might not agree but understand the decision..
