Watched the derby but it was ruined with the early red. Best and worst of Ajer. Bringing the ball out of defence was a joy to watch but did a WTE for Rangers second though. Turnt his body instead of looking and taking one in the face. Turnball looked good in midfield. Disappointed with Edouard and Morales even though they both scored. But Ryan Kent is some player, everything good from Rangers went through him. Tavernier put some wicked crosses in from RB. Kamara just reminded me of Will Hughes tbh, neat and tidy with the ball but wouldn't really bring anything extra imo. Overall Ajer and Kent would bring so much to our first 11. Wouldn't be cheap even if we could get them.
Kent will probably get linked to Leeds again and other clubs like that but doubt Rangers will want to sell unless for silly money. Ajer did look good on the ball but a defender still has to do his main job and they let in a lot of easy goals from the looks of it and aren’t playing top quality most weeks.
I find it ridiculous that a right-back is on 17 goals for the season (even if most of them were pens!)
Him and Kent are far too good for that league. You can add 15 assists to Tavernier stats also. Insane, as you say for a right back.
Voted the Scottish Football Writers Young Player of the Season yesterday. On a long contract too (2025), would be surprised if we spent the money on him.

Pozzos often keep their transfers under the radar. And there’s a lot of groundwork to do for transfers that can take months so still time for it to come out into the media anyway. But you’re right about the comments themselves.
There's nothing in that which rules out him being about to move though - he's hardly going to be saying in that interview "thanks for the award, but Scottish football is crap and I'm leaving asap".
I don’t think we’d even spend as much as a million, would we? The Pozzos have been extremely reluctant to spend money on defenders over the years, nevermind unproven gambles.
Would be an excellent signing. He is quick very good defensively rarely see him getting beat and he is decent with the ball going forward as well. I think he is going to be a very good player.
Brighton have just announced a partnership with Hibbs. Wonder if any potential deal with him could be in doubt because of that

I heard it was actually Elgin but heard it fell apart as Elgin refused to take Deeney & Gray as a sweetener.
Apparently, when we tried to include those 2 in the deal, they asked us if we thought they'd lost their marbles.
