Instead of Deeney's injury shouldn't it be more like a mention of "Watford will miss Deeney's influence"? Zinckernagel losing the ball, and Masina passing the ball out for a throw-in or goal-kick, could also be added to the list.

I will be quite frankly disappointed if this is how it plays out. I am expecting a win by at least 2 goals since we have meant to have turned over a new leaf and our home form was ace even before we had turned over a new leaf. Derby have improved but all they've done is got themselves out of the drop zone. We are top 4 and should have too much for them. There is no excuse really.
That'd make sense if you played like Wycombe, but I thought you were a bit more 'cultured' than that? We tend to play better against teams that play more of a passing game, so it might actually be a good game to watch. TBH anything we get tonight is a bit of a bonus - the next two games against Huddersfield and Forest are more significant, as they're around us in the table.
This game will boil down to mentality. If our boys go out with the mindset that the game is already won, we will lose. If our boys go out and play like this game means they get a £5mil bonus each for winning, we will smash them. Rooney will have them fired up. We must match their, will, desire, passion, intensity and commitment. Do that, and we win. They need to play like their lives depend on it.
I hope not. Derby already hinted that their tactic tonight will be to try and score from a set piece. If we’ve taken out our best aerial threat, Waghorn will have a field day. Unless of course Sierralta is injured. If he’s not though, that’s a mistake from Xisco.
There’s a great novel about just that scenario. Seveneves. Would highly recommend it. It’s doesn’t specifically deal with the outcome of Watford v Derby though I think we’d have time to finish the season. Next season not so much. And I wouldn’t recommend getting a season ticket for 22/23.
I appreciate your analysis but the lad needs a rest. He's played a lot of games in succession having previously not played at all. He's played more minutes in the last two months or so than any season he's had elsewhere in his career.
Well there you have it. Only disappointment from me is Sierralta out for Ekong. That could be costly. Bench is strong though.

WTE for Sierralta it is. Xisco is like that guy who won’t leave the BBQ alone when it’s cooking everything nicely - blowing on the coals, tweaking this and that. Just leave a winning team alone. Always has to have a little tinker with things for seemingly no reason. Dropping our most in from CB seems odd to me. Especially the aerially dominant one. Just allow a CB pairing to form and stop chopping and changing. Other than that, no complaints!
Another game, another ever so slightly puzzling selection, why Sierralta has been benched I don't know (just rotation as I assume WTE was benched on Tuesday for?), but hey, we have our best striker starting so come on you 'Orns!
