Hopefully West Ham will make the move permanent now. West Ham fans on social media loving him. Saying he proved them wrong etc.
BT Sport commentator just said he’s on a season long loan from West Brom, that’s how forgettable his spell at Watford was lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Since his current loan deal doesn't have an option to buy, I wonder if we could negotiate a higher fee for him if West Ham do want him permanently?
Cracking header too. Another MotM performance from Dawson. I wish we had someone who attacks the ball like him.
Well we always looked for him from set plays but usually the ball went flying over his head ! And probably didn’t protect his lack of pace in defence or midfield in front of him .
Strange player. Was awful at the start, then went through a period of being our best centre back but just so impulsive at critical times in games when we were desperate for points to stay up. Still think we'd have beaten Arsenal and stayed up had he not committed a needless foul for the penalty after 30 seconds.
Brain dead player, slower than Cathcart, let's hope West Ham want to buy him because we won't need players like that back here.
With our set piece delivery it's a pipe dream regardless. He came close on a number of occasions, but never close enough. More importantly he was far too reckless in important moments. Not just Arsenal but it seemed every other game he would make a game defining error.
I wouldn't say excellent. Still very rash and has made a few errors that haven't been punished. Only a matter of time though.
Is it 2 MoM awards he's won there or two ? I've lost count...Was solid at WBA in the prem before we bought him and solid at WHU so far. Maybe, just maybe, the problem is us.
He had his moments but we all know that it's not going to last. Hopefully they tie it up this window before he produces some of those displays.
The fact that we are looking as deeply into Dawson's performances tells you all you need to know about how our transfer window is going.
It's so boring. We're clearly not going to do much business but at least usually there's a few decent rumours flying about to get us excited before the crushing disappointment. This time, pretty much ever thread is on players that have left, are out on loan or might be leaving. But anyway, LouOrns has said we have money to spend so that's me reassured. If the club are going to tell anyone what our transfer budget is, it'll be him.
Maybe he gets a lot more interest from the boardroom which helps him perform https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9138031/West-Ham-appoint-ex-PORN-STAR-board.html
Some defending more akin to what we saw last season just now as he inexplicably turned and ran away from the attacker allowing him to score the equaliser.
Its astounding, and a great example of just how poor the recruitment decision making had become, that this bloke would be behind TE, Wilmot, Cathcart, Kabba and Sierralta in the pecking order.
https://mobile.twitter.com/WHUFCFZ/status/1352434013672251392 Sounds like he’s on his way for £2-3m. Excellent news if truth. Another £2-3m in the bank and wages off the books. When this is coming from the ExWHUemployee account, then there is something in it.
Yes, have Dawson. Sorry to see him go and everything. A real shame. Lovely bloke. £3 million will only go some small part of the way to compensate us. Oh, and Quina and Ngakia for a total £1 million will also help soften the blow just a little. We wish Craig all the very best and are sure his silky footballing skills, boyish good looks and 100% commitment all the time (even after he's got that Prem contract safe) will illuminate and sparkle in the hallowed Academy of Football and Running Track.
Don't we have to pay for Ngakia because of his age, whether that's coming to an agreement with West Ham or going to tribunal? I thought that with players under a certain age they couldn't leave on free transfers, hence why we paid £4m for Jerome Sinclair even though he was out of contract (money well spent, I'm sure we can all agree!).
