On the subject of louhorns, I think so far his record has been:

    Called Murray.
The same source who told him about Murray said Forestieri was signing on a one year deal (didn't happen).
    Wrong about Grimes.

I think he has a source, but seems to be very hit and miss.

He has deleted his Dawson tweet now too.

I’m assuming Pedro is playing as the loan striker. This will be a test for him

Tbf he never said Grimes was a done deal. I've also heard that Villareal are in for him for 15m. I know we're gonna lose big names, but surely can we just get the obvious ones out of the way first before we even think about selling a player we have precious little back-up for?

£15m seems very low for one of the best fullbacks to play in arguably the best league in the world (and by that I mean La Liga, not the Champ). Must be a ‘Championship’ price. If he goes for that price we better have a very good sell-on.

With Masina’s injury it becomes incredibly important to get a new left back. Maybe the Giannoulis deal is still alive?

Oh I'd expect we'll try and drag it out a bit, I'd want closer to £30m for him. We can't let him go before we get another LWB lined up, if it's Giannoulis, fair enough, but **** having Femenia and Sema as our LWB options

Of course he's going. Was completely and utterly inevitable. Anyone with any value is available and we'll replace everyone with horrendous, Udinese cast offs.

"Pozzo plays hard ball and only sells at peak value" is a load of old sh*te, too. If Estupinan goes for £15m then Pozzo may actually be the worst negotiator in world football.

And thus far, he hasn't? Although I'm sure you'll tell me friendlies count.

Clearly a complete coincidence that supposedly a bid has come in and suddenly he has a "knock" and is kept from playing in our first competitive fixture.

    Original.

The fact is that people simply cannot stand to see my "negativity" proven right. I'll say it again, I'm simply a realist who see's things for what they really are and don't delude myself by desperately grasping for positives in situations where a disappointing outcome is inevitable.

Unless you're deluding yourself that you're simply a realist.

Perhaps you're just an underachieving optimist? Awaiting you exiting your cocoon and spreading your rose tinted positive wings.

Why don't you try and think of just one positive thing to say? You never know, you might find you enjoy it.

I say plenty of positive things daily, just little of them are to do with this mess of a football club.

I know how people on here love to try and psychoanalyse people and define their personalities based on their thoughts and opinions on an internet football forum, but generally I'm perfectly happy.

I suppose when my "negativity" is proven right it's easier for people to tell themselves "omg he must h8 life n e way! he never has anyfin positiv to say on this online football forum!".

You think a win and 3 points first up in a new season after a chastening relegation is a disappointing outcome Nath? I’m pretty pessimistic, but even I’d say I’m not disappointed at that outcome tonight.

You do say things that in fairness are likely to happen at some point, relegation from the premier league was predicted pretty much every year so you're bound to be right. Maybe changing your avatar to nicer ex player would help your mood rather than that horrible human being King.

£15m is a good deal for someone who’s in the second division and has one-year left on his contract

Pozzos seem to think they can sell all our talent and get us back up by replacing them with Udinese fringe players

Based on tonight's evidence... they may be right

Clearly 3 points isn't disappointing, but the overall performance was, the bulls**t around our squad and having 17 first teamers unavailable is, seeing the likes of Jerome Sinclair on our bench is, and the likely sales of players we'd been led to believe would be Watford players this season, amongst all of the other inevitable sales, is.

3 points is great, the bigger picture right now most certainly is not.

Is that how we are judging the value of a player who hasn't actually kicked a ball at this level, then?

He's contracted to us, we're in the Championship, so £15m is a good deal for a young full back of immense potential, who has never actually played at this level, and proved himself to be and was widely praised as one of the best full backs in La Liga, arguably the best league in the world, last year?

It's a laughable fee. Absolutely laughable. Utter pittance.

Watford don’t have any leverage in this scenario which is the issue. If he wants out and the most Watford can get is £15m, then it’s a shame. He can also go for free in January.
