I think this signing all depends on what it is intended for. If Deeney is out the door and this is the replacement then good business. If this blocks Suarez starting or indicates Suarez is leaving then its a disaster.

Agree. As I see it he's just a cheaper alternative to Deeney, which means we can now sell Troy and at least halve the wage burden for the year.

 

The only positive I can find in this is that it means surely Deeney must be leaving.

Although I wouldn't put it past us to sell Suarez and Pedro and play the two cloggers up top together. A sickening thought.

Disagree. For one thing I think Murray has an excellent mentality, while Dawson seems a bit of a lackadaisacal loser.

It's noteworthy that Brighton fans still love him and a fair few think he'll still do well in the Championship - compare this with how much many, even most, on here have grown to disdain Troy over the years and can't wait to see the back of him. It's a good omen.

I reckon we must have the fan base with the highest percentage of drug users, such is their incessant willingness to clap along with absolutely everything with a smile on their face.

You need four striker options in the Championship to cope with the number of games and different styles needed to unlock a variety of defences. In both the Zolacoaster season (Deeney, Vydra, Geijo, Fessi) and our promotiob year (Deeney, Vydra, Ighalo, Fessi) we had four, all of whom contributed at some point or another.
