Must win today. It's my son's birthday party, football themed, this afternoon, and he's ready in full kit. Win and we're out of the relegation places before the party finishes. Do it for the children, Troy...
The wind speed is forecast to halve between noon and KO time, so shouldn't be a lottery. Just about to head South for our next "must win" game. "Once more unto the breach dear friends, once more"
With Muff playing Norwich and us playing spurs next week we could really do with climbing above them even temporarily today....
I’m at a Pantomime this afternoon while the football is on. I’ll get told off if I keep looking at my phone!
I can’t be bothered with certain individuals constant need for ego feeding/a fight/negativity/constant derailing etc. The lack of action on it too is pretty poor, at one point earlier in the season every thread turned into the same argument which wasn’t about the original topic, which is pretty dull. At times this forum makes Twitter look like a sane and non toxic place. There’s enough anger and negativity in the world before coming onto Person x tries to take on WFCForums for the 500th time this month.
Think we’ve got a decent chance if our midfield protects our makeshift back 4. The attack should get some joy with their pace. More of a must not lose, than a must win today for both teams.
Would a draw be a decent result, giving that Spam lost on Friday and a defeat for Villa later is almost nailed on?
We're a top ten te No. Under Pearson we're a top 10 team in a bottom 3 position. Injury ravaged Bournemouth are playing like relegation fodder. A draw would be two points lost.
Clear as day. That HHooter poster has already admitted he used to be that drunken fool Kelso. Enough now.....
Whilst I agree with you about the bitching, arguing and derailing - you can't include 'negativity' as it's just subject to whatever opinion you disagree with. Let people say and discuss whatever they like, when the ****s start calling each other names and using bad ******* language, that's when they should take a look at themselves, the ****s. 1-1
I had already conceded we had too much to do and are going down. However if we win today I may perk up a bit.
I would tend to agree with your last point. If all we are doing is taking 1 point from the teams around us that means we have to cause a shock or two against teams near the top. Using the draw at Sheff Utd as a measuring stick (who are generally a top 7 team), a draw at Bournemouth isn't very good with the form that they are in.
Not correct actually. When they quote the numbers in black, eg 40 at 1pm, that's the max gust speed. When they quote in a white circle it's the average so the damaging gusts of 40+ may have passed but an average of 25-23 is still very blowy and probably not too disimilar to gusts of 40....zzzzz i know.... Good luck, hope you see a great win over our true rivals !
Dawson and Cathcart in central defence. Masina and Mariappa full backs. Ake and Fraser back for Bournemouth
Souness shouldn’t be allowed to do our games, once again proving he literally has no idea about or squad.
