Cant do much if he cant get on the pitch ! If last 2 home games is premiership can we go back to championship at least we got games with goals in , before last week we had gone well over a year without a 0-0 , now we have 2 on the bounce, that said I would be happy with another at the Ethihad.

Glad I am not the only one who prefers the goal fest that is the Championship. Perhaps if we return to the best league, we can have our old team back ? Fessi, Vyds... don't go !

Having seen Jurado twice now, I'm coming to dislike him. Sure, he brings more commitment to the fancy-dan role than Fabb, but he doesn't have FF's energy or willingness to drive forward and make things happen. Jurado is happy to dribble round in circles or go sideways, his passing is erratic and his dead-ball kicks terrible.

Which part of my post didn't you like, Legs?

In an interview in the Sunday Times, Duxbury said that he and Pozzo wanted to build their team around Jurado and were thrilled when Florrie agreed. Maybe they're all right and I'm wrong, but I've seen nothing to suggest that Jurado is the right man for the job.

An attacking midfield three of Vydra, Abdi and one other would be my choice - maybe FF, maybe Diamanti, maybe Anya, but at the moment certainly not Jurado or Layun.

It's an interesting one - I get the impression that the two wide players in the three behind the striker are currently being picked on their ability to defend and cover as much as everything else as we find our feet in this division. Layun for example is more of a Milner type than anything else for me, so maybe that fits the manager's plan more closely.

And when Diamanti came on yesterday, I did feel slightly uneasy at his defensive efforts even though he brought a bit more attacking guile to the table. So I wonder if that's why Fessi hasn't had a go yet - would he be too gung ho and leave the full back too exposed too often?

Unlike Watford fans getting on someone's back after 3 appearances. He is new to the team, premier and country. He has shown me more than enough that he will be an integral part of the team.

People complaining about our lack of build up play, then criticizing the one person who's trying to build the play up. Dribbling in circles or cutting inside and playing a pass to the full-back is how you build play up and move forward as a unit. We need more of that. Passing erratic? He had the best pass accuracy of anyone that played 90 minutes. Only Behrami (and Watson, but Watson only played 5 minutes) ended up ahead of him in the passing stakes yesterday.

God I hate these players who are technically superior to anything I've ever seen at Watford.

Yes, passing erratic. He did lots of little passes of 3 or 4 feet, but whenever he tried to switch play the results were very iffy.

    Lies, damned lies and statistics.

Remember Abdi? or FF? Nice little dummies don't make you a technically superior footballer, they just impress the gullible.

Tried switching the play 4 times. 2 successful. Anya attempted 4, 0 successful. Why pick on Jurado?

    Confirmation bias.

People recognise things which suit the conclusion they've already drawn and overlook things which counter it. Very normal human behavior that we all engage in.

If he is let go,I feel this is one of the biggest mistakes ever made by the club.FF has more talent in his little finger than some of the players brought in.Dismantie looked absolute shocking yesterday what a joke.FF on bench and they send him on,bloke looks like he has not played a game in 2 years.

Don't worry, if you can be bothered to give him a chance for more than a few games you'll grow to love Jurado.

Not going to give players a chance either no? It's amazing that after 3 years of seeing so many players come into the club, fans still don't have the patience to let new guys settle into the new club/country. It's pathetic.

If we have players like Vydra&FF not making the team or even the bench and we are not scoring goals to me that is madness not to let them play some part in the game. Why would you want Players given an chance that look Shocking. All this settleing in stuff is rubbish A decent player should be able to adapt straight away this guy you can see he will be another fairy like fab was,he could hardly stand on his feet, spent most of his time falling over then laughing it off. What a great signing he looks.Lets just get rid of two of our best players and give this bloke a chance to Settle in poor thing.

Jurado is clearly a very good player. However, as with all playmakers, you have to know your team. David Silva started pretty slowly from what I remember as an example. As did Ronaldinho at Barca. It takes time as you have to be able to anticipate what's about to happen in that position.

We shouldn't compare FF to Jurado. They may have similar qualities but one tries to pick out a pass, the other likes to run at people. Both are useful and I think both players should contribute this season. I'm not the manager though so I don't see the players every day.

More talent maybe but has done precious little with it in 3 years. Vydra has been with us 2 seasons, banged in hatfuls of goals in both, and also may be let go. Now THAT would be a mistake.

He has done enough for me and if he goes he will never be forgotten, one of the most talent players ever to play in an Watford shirt and to be fair he has never been given a good run of games in them 3 years that's a waste of a talent. If he does go to leeds people will see just how good he is and what a big mistake it was to let him go.

So surely you'd learn not to write players off so quickly?? Not that Jurado has even done anything wrong!

Because everyone's saying he's God's gift. My point is that I'd prefer FF to Jurado at the moment. I haven't seen him do anything yet that makes a difference.

Anya's strengths and weaknesses are well known.

And even if you think he hasn't done anything that makes a difference, I can't see what he's done to make you say you dislike him?

Last year he scored 5 goals and 6 assists. Not bad for the games he played.Thats 10% of the success of last year roughly not bad for one player. He took on man city on his own+involved with the L.city goal in play offs.Destroying teams like Sheffield wed away+huddlesfield each year reading and lots of other teams in the last 3 years they all no about him and rate him very highly.I find it hard to believe we have fans that say he has done precious little un****inbelieveable.

All this about FF leaving being a big mistake is frankly insane.
In the championship season he couldn't get in the side and now we are playing at a higher level why are people surprised that he isn't getting game time?? The championship is the championship and the premier league is the premier league. Sides change and new managers have their own ideas. Even Abdi and Vydra aren't getting major game time for one reason or another. I'd rather Vydra be given game time than FF.

FF style of play is perfect for the prem.Man city fans and players rate him highly. Some people on here I reckon have not even seen him play.He would get in any team in the championship, and it will be a great loss to get rid of such a talent player.

Love the little guy, but I think it is the right decision to let him go, at the right price, unfortunately he is not consistant enough to be with us anymore, he is a decent Championship level player that can show periodic flashes of genious, and I know he can go on and have a great career in the lower leagues.

As for Anya, I don't get the love fest with him  He is a speed merchant and not a lot else IMO; he can go tomorrow as far as I am concerned!
