Brighton & Hove Albion 0-2 Watford - 25/04/2015

I'm not expecting a classic, Brighton don't score many and for a side in their position they don't concede much either (have only lost two games by more than one goal). At this stage another 1-0 win, even achieved Tony Pulis/Gary Megson style would do for me!

 

I just read Hughton's comments, he said they're treating this as an important game because they're still not mathematically safe. I think this game will be very similar to the Birmingham game.

 

This one is at the arse crack of dawn for me, so I don't have to wait half the day for it to start.

The flip side is that if we don't get a result, it will quite literally ruin my entire weekend.

 

He could hardly say anything else.

 

They're safe. Whatever Houghton says, the Brighton players know it & the fans know it.

 

Agreed, but wouldn't surprise me if he sets them up defensively still.

 

It's Chris Hughton. Anyone expecting anything other than a defensive setup will be disappointed.

 

It should matter what formation he tries. They're safe. Their players will be on the (Brighton) beach & we're too good & too focused to slip up.

 

We should be cautious. Brighton have taken points off a whole load of top ten clubs this season and seem to play better against the better clubs

 

They looked quite poor against Muff.

Muff weren't that much better, mind.

Apologies if this has been referred to elsewhere but BHAFC are hosting a post match party for ALL fans tomorrow at 3pm. The last one was when they played Norwich and it resulted in both sets of fans doing the conga to a mods and rockers band.....headlining tomorrow are two DJs, one who was signed to Skint Records, and the party will take place in the East Stand. Sounds like a good option. I'm going up early doors for beers in the Seven Stars bar with some Brighton supporting mates before the game. Would be good to grab a pint with a fellow Hove based hornet!

i'd say this level of fan engagement, what's on offer in the fan-zone and a quick look at the BHA forum tells you why they are the fans' community club of year, or what ever they were. Seems like a really progressive, forward looking outfit...pity they're dogsh*t at footy!

It's Watford in a promotion race, totally normal.

We could be playing a team of actual seagulls tomorrow and I'd still think we could **** it up.

 

Less than 27 hours to go lads. Time for every true man of Hertfordshire to gird their loins and prepare to do their duty ...

 

This game is right up there with the cup final, play off finals and any game you care to remember. I believe in this team, I believe in Joka and I am going to sing until I'm hoarse tomorrow. Everybody has to give everything they've got from the stands.
