Far cry is top. Causing mass carnage on an Elephant who possibly couldn't enjoy this. I love all the little details they include, like the tape holding the buzzer together.

 

GTA V is very well optimised.

Intel i5 3570k @ 3.4gh, GeForce GTX 670 and 16gb RAM runs at a hybrid normal/high setup at 60+FPS.

INSTALL ON AN SSD. LOAD TIME FOR TEXTURES DEPEND ON IT ELSE HIGH SPEED CITY RUNS ARE 20-30 FPS.

Near future, looking at i7 4690k and 2No. GeForce GTX 970 SLI should boost it between high and ultra.

 

As reported in link below, women's international sides are going to feature in FIFA '16 for the first time...thoughts?

Seems a bit gimmicky to me, and not sure how it'll work out alongside the male teams, but good exposure for the women's game nonetheless.

For those with a Wii U, Splatoon is one of the best games I've played in years. It's ridiculously fun.

For the last few Months I've really taken FIFA Career Mode more seriously, to a point of implementing actual League rules and restrictions as well as using the GTN only as well as only allowing scouts to scout in surrounding countries, and upscaling only when club size increases. (Moves up League or finishes above an arbitary position) I actively use this SubReddit as it's a great source of Career Mode info.

One is the MLS (Chivas USA, Now defunct) and the other is the UK (Carlise Utd). May also start a German or Italian one as well. Of course though Watford is magically exempt form all this and can field a non-Enlgish 18 Man Squad without issue as well as sign the best of the best.

 

Ive worked my way up from shrewsbury and i now play as wolfsburg. If you get the chance buy devante cole from MK Dons. You can get him really cheap and he gets over 80 rating. Also in the free agents sign chumacero midfielder. i play on a PS4 so if you every fancy a game im yellowstone40

Haven't considered buying an Xbox One or Playstation 4 before, but I think I may be changing my mind. Would you take a look at these graphics? Star Wars Battlefront looks unbelievable.

Get the PC version instead. It'll be far better.

I'm in the Alpha. It's a blast. Can't say any more than that due to NDA.

 

I live on the move. Why splash more cash on something that's arguably less portable, will go out of date quicker and has a smaller screen?

 

Get a desktop.

Way better value than consoles and lasts longer, offers the Steam platform, and can actually be used for something other than gaming. Cheaper titles via Steam sales/GOG sales/Green Man Gaming sales. Superior performance, much better graphics, superior modding capabilities, and upgrade over time (or upgrade, period).

Consoles are hardly portable so comparing one to a laptop is kind of a waste of time.

It's no more difficult to move a modern desktop tower than it is to move an Xbox or PS. After all, that's all they are: a stripped down PC tower with underpowered components.

for its worth i still prefer consoles. i own a high end gaming computer and an xbox one.

i much prefer lounging on the sofa playing games than sitting in a chair in front a screen using a mouse and keyboard. although i admit the graphical quality is improved on the pc, the gap between consoles and pc's is shrinking. the pc master race never cease to amaze me with their continuing desire to put console gaming down, even though more and more pc games are built to use controller input rather than a traditional keyboard and mouse set up.

i tend to use my pc to play rts games, and they are definitely much more suited to this than on a console. however give me a choice of playing battlefront on a pc, or on a console and i would pick console every day. however i know everyone is different, so i won't have a go at anybody who disagrees with me.

 

You can always use a controller for the PC.

I'm finding increasingly more I enjoy watching streams of games rather than playing them myself.

Bloke in the office told me about some game he was playing which was set in outer space and was huge. I told him I had a game like that back in the spectrum days called Elite. "That's it" he said. Elite Dangerous is the game, currently on offer at £9.99, so last night I downloaded it and tried it out.
