£5m apparently. Norwich also linked. Nothing decided yet, though.

The league that's more competitive than the Prem
Javi Guerra - 15 La Liga goals last season
Adam Le Fondre - proven goalscorer
Federico Macheda - clear potential and did superb for s ****e Brum last season
Guido Burgstalller - rated as the best player in the Austrian League for a few seasons and was wanted by Prem sides
Kagisho Dikgacoi - proven in the Championship and turned down a new Palace contact & an offer from Leicester and Villa.

    Seems pretty good to me.

what about when you write it this way:

Javi Guerra - veteran striker who has never played outside of his home country and has ageing legs
Adam Le Fondre - proven goalscorer (i actually think he is a good signing)
Federico Macheda - injury prone young striker who has never reached his potential
Guido Burgstaller - a completely unknown entity, may be great may be crap.
Kagisho Dikgacoi - again i think a solid signing, although could only have turned down palace as you offered more money? why play in the championship other than the prem?

Cardiff have decided to take a leaf out of Palace's book and get a troupe of cheerleaders in:

I expect Reading to buy big now as they are just about to be taken over by a multi-billionaire.

Suppose you've never noticed we don't care about sheep shaager slurs. A lot of our chants include it. Like next season when we play ya at Vicarage Rd we'll be singing "4-0, to she sheep shaggers, 4-0, to the sheep shaggers"

I'm actually quite surprised that none of you have heard of Islam Feruz. He's meant to be an excellent prospect.

Saying that though, him turning down a senior call-up for Scotland after they and Celtic went out of their way to give him asylum AND have the paperwork to represent Scotland at youth level.. It sounds like he has a questionable attitude. Not sure I'd want him here actually.

I have heard of Islam Feruz, just on the wind up.

It'd actually be a very good signing.

Javier Acuna - on real Madrid's books, wanted by a host of Prem teams scored 15 odd goals in the Spain
Fabrinni- capped by Italy, huge potential
Ireney- huge experience in la liga, solid the league

All sounded good, all pretty ****. FM is overrated IMO, I wouldn't have wanted him to sign here. As I've said dikgacoi, very very average, and the other two never played in the England. You should be aware of that, you signed a player who was a beast in the Danish league and was wanted by prem sides who should have been good....

Judging by the one time I've seem him on tv, he wasn't anything special. Sounds like a bit of a **** too, so I'd imagine Cardiff is a perfect fit for him.

Rather have Charly Musonda or, in a year or so, Dom Solanke.

Looks like Gary Medel could be off to Celta Vigo and Steven Caulker could be moving to Everton.

Brentford have signed Moses Odubajo from Leyton Orient.

Hope this is the sort of signing we will be looking at in years to come when we have the stability we are aiming to achieve

Lovely stuff. I look forward to Angella casually flicking the ball over his head and sprinting off with the ball, making Gray look like the non-league striker he is.

McCormack didn't go on Leeds preseason trip, so he's probably off and they're replacing him with Serie B players by the look of it. With Hockaday as boss I could see them really struggling next year. Hopefully anyway!!

Which doesn't spell good news for us because Norwich are looking for one more striker and they were chasing two- Wilson and Deeney. I still don't see us selling him to Norwich of all teams but they'll be going for it now and will up the bids big time

£11m for McCormack! LOL. That'll be £12m for Deeney then please Dychey.

Nah we'll probably get £10m at the most for him. Even then that'd be too high for Deeney. Just imagine for McCormack though, going from a club steeped in history and a large stadium with a very good support, to Fulham, a club that football history has seemed to forget and a smaller stadium full of tourists and a "neutral" end because they like to keep things all lovey-dovey there. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he gets depressed and does a Torres (i.e not score after a big money move).
