Cardiff have barely changed since two years ago.... So far.

 

Watched 10 mins of Cardiff Blackburn and I've had enough, shocking hoof ping pong clogg. Neither of these two are going up.

 

Rudy Gestede is a nuisance. If Ranegie can get his head on as many balls into him like that then we'll definitely be able to mix it up.

 

These two look utter tripe. Blackburn I expected to be the sh!t but I thought Cardiff would be a bit better. Looking at their squad I'm not sure why I thought that, very average. And Le Fondre out wide? Same with Vydra out there, very ineffective.

 

Think both will actually do pretty well. They're ugly but effective, Cardiff got promoted under Malky doing the same thing two years ago. A solid defence goes a long way in the championship, which both have.

FRB, what was the point in signing ALF if you're sticking him on the wing? He's utterly useless as anything but a poacher. I'd be worried about OGS if I was a Cardiff fan.

I like the BBC Sport headline "Cardiff held in season opener". Makes it sound like Cardiff were the better team, despite only having 6 shots (to Blackburns 12), and 35% possession.

 

adeyemi's first touch in a cardiff shirt was a miscontrol out of play..............

 

Don't get me started on the BBC. According to their 'Football League Preview', Lee Gregory from Millwall who admittedly scored 30 goals last season (at Conference level) is a contender for Championship top scorer. No mention of Deeney or Vydra though....

 

Haven't believed the BBC stats since Huddersfield at home 12/13... They said we had 45% possession or something when I'm nearly certain we had close to 70% it was that dominant.

 

Le Fondre played on the wing yesterday due to an injury to our other two wingers.

Also, apparently we're signing Ravel Morrison for 3m quid. Dunno what to think on that one.

 

he's a joke. such a talented player, but a complete waster too who doesn't realise how lucky he is. still after last night i think you need a bit of flair, lot of long ball football on show.

 

The thing is why play that tactic when you clearly didn't have the personnel available for it? Solskjaer made some very odds decisions tactically last season, he seemed to just close his eyes and pick a tactic, trying a new one every week.

 

The thing is we still have Craig Noone, Javi Guerra, Ben Turner, Federico Macheda, Kagisho Dikgacoi to come back from injury yet (which they all will within a week hopefully), plus any new signings we will make. I have a lot of faith in Ole. I think we can and will go up. Not many sides will get much at Blackburn this season. We adapted to getting the point and a steady start.

What happened with Fonte? Saw he signed a new contract at Saints.

I've predicted Cardiff will finish 5th this season.

 

I think both Cardiff and Fulham will falter this season. No chance of automatics for me, but you may sneak the playoffs.

 

Funny how once a team only gets a draw that the start saying, not many sides will get much there, while just trying to justify your own teams efforts

 

I don't give Fulham much hope either, try to play football in the right way and have some promising young players but looked toothless

So that's Cardiff, Fulham, Blackburn, Bolton out of the automatics...

Thats absolutely crazy. Do Cardiff fans really want this move to go through? I wouldn't want him anywhere near my club, talented but incredibly disruptive. Last I heard he is due in court for attacking his ex-girlfriend and her mum.
