    Midfielder, striker. Strange post...

I know, but if FRB is claiming 5 assists is "bags" then Deeney can match it. 7 goals from midfield is hardly a lot either.

I'd certainly prefer Mutch over Deeney - easy choice.

    I'd rather go Dutch tbh.

Grabban joins Norwich. No idea about the details.

I would prefer Abdi over Mutch and keep Deeney

Probably not worth £8m+, maybe £5m. I suspect they put that price on his head to put people off

Scott Loach has joined Rotherham. Some Rotherham fans seem very excited by this news...

Fraizer Campbell in talks with Leicester after Malky puts an 800k release clause in his contract. NICE ONE MALKY MATE.

After Cowiegate, I won't be shedding a tear.

Good job Cardiff have signed 34 strikers this summer then.

Very happy with Campbell, just need to get rid of Wood and sign a big beefy bruiser to give us another option now
    .

  14. To be fair Campbell is pretty mediocre, £800k is about right

actually they both now play in the championship :)

    only teasing btw.

Exactly, one of them too good for Championship but will never be good enough for Prem. Tommy Smith-itus.

In the inflated fee's times we live in £2.5/3 mill would be acceptable but hey ho.

Looks like Sami Hyypia will be the next Brighton manager. Didn't see that one coming and on paper, a very impressive appointment.

    Interesting.

Potentially a good signing. He had a decent record at Leverkusen.

Brighton falling into the trap of sacking managers too readily but tbf Hypia could be a great appointment for them.

    Nah just 3.

I love Campbell but he isn't a Prem standard player. Will take him I don't know how many chances until he finally scores.

You're off your head. 2m+ at least. Would ruin the Championship.

Imagine him, Acuna and Beleck up front. They'd literally destroy this league.

According to the Leicester chairman and Pearson Leicester are aiming to achieve a top 5 finish in the next 3 years.

Surely a massive club like Leicester should be setting their sights a little higher than that. As a club as huge as Leicester , I would expect nothing less than a League and CL double in the first 3 years and then use that as a solid platform to make a serious challenge to win the next World Cup in 4 years time.

  24. Defences are shuddering at the thought of his 1 goal in 4 ratio

Scored 8 in 12 for us in our promotion season after signing in January carrying an injury

7 goals in 9 starts. Very impressive indeed. Glad that he seems to be staying in the Prem.

  27. Filbert

    Exciting if true.

  28. I recall he had a great season at Hull (2007 or 8 was it?) in the champ, and a decent half season the other year (also in the champ)

I know he had a few injuries but the numbers aren't great in the other 4 or 5 seasons in the prem in between. Still hasn't proved he can do it at the highest level :notimpress:

Goes without saying, but that's completely delusional.

Which clubs out of: Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs do they really think they can compete with?

The absolute best most clubs can hope for now is a 6-10 finish.

I have said myself he isn't a Prem striker. Still for a good Championship striker 2m+ is fair nowadays

Aw lets make up quotes to make Leicester look silly and outselves feel better about a crap season......... Neither Pearson or the chairman ahas said anything along those lines. Top, the chairman's son said something like that in an interview but in context it wasn't meant seriously.

What annoys me is when fans from other teams come onto our forum and criticise us for not following every detail about their team and taking what we see in the press at face value. If the chairman's son has said something and its been reported in the press, don't expect us to track the source and don't post patronising bollix as a reply.

Saying this, I did just have a quick search. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/13/leicester-owners-top-five-premier-league, http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ner-targets-top-five-finish-in-premier-league

For me, the owner saying it is fairly credible.

If you're going to come on here and be a t*at then why bother? You say you found a forum you enjoy but don't come on a Watford FC forum and moan we don't know everytnkng about Leicester.

By the way regarding the making ourselves feel better bit, yes our season was awful but I'd still choose the position we're in over yours a 10000x times.
