If you cant see the point that explains why you dont know that the Watford team are walking onto the pitch unless you hear Zcars in the background.

A lot of people would be angry / sad to see it dropped. If that happened they may still attend matches but as Kelso says success is about fine margins and ******* people off at a time when we need to be united would not be a very clever thing to do.

Just wait a couple of years until the club really sorts itself out and shifts all the mannequins who occupy seats in the middle of the Rookery out of the way for people who actually want to to sing. Then you'll see pissed off people!

I like it. I'm pretty [and] young, too.

I wouldn't mind it being changed at the beginning of next season, though. Or the last game of this season. Especially if it's the play-off final and we go up.

There are bigger things for people to bother themselves about and I genuinely can't see anyone worth having at matches getting angry about it. If a minority want to then fair enough. Chances of them impacting on team performance: Zilch. Zero. Nada. Nil. None.

I personally think Joka should cancel training until this is sorted, we don't want this affecting performances on the pitch and getting into the players heads.

Only old people and believe me I know what they are like. You have to enforce progress or we'd still be living in trees.

Have we considered 'Walking On Sunshine' by Katrina and The Waves?

Sunshine is normally yellow. And as we know, we are all yellow.

Additionally it's uplifting, it'll get all the kids dancing and a few of those golden oldies jiving around as the teams come out. It's fun for all the family and kid friendly too and none of this swearing or racial stuff that's in ALL music these days. Also, Katrina and The Waves won Eurovision so it's historic and topical.

Also Sir Dale Braylsford played it to Andy Murray before he won the Grand National at Euro 96.

Everyone knows the song and I think the players will respond with thumping victories at home and maybe even away if someone takes a ghetto blaster into the games.

    And sometimes you don't.

The first has been blamed for the death of fan football, the second is rued by many for throwing everyone together in an environment that inflames supporters against their fellow fans. Both were poorly conceived by people who were greedy for money, or thought they knew better.

If you think both are good examples of enforced progress then we are unlikely to agree on much.

I especially like the the double use of the word history to fill the gap left by some short sighted and inadequate lyric writing

Are You Ready For Love is a good uplifting number from Sir Reg. Always thought could be used as the club song as well.

This is one of the most amusing threads ever. First of all there are the traditionalists and then all the rest of us with our own pet projects. The wisest words are probably spoken by whalebait in his #82 who intimates that if there was to be a change then now might not be the best time. I can agree to that.

If an objective observer was looking at this thread he/she would probably think - Jeez, what a sad bunch of inbred f.ckers and likely be right. Hilarious really ...

The answer is that the Pozzos should commission the Foo Fighters feat. Dizzee Rascal to do a version of Johnny Todd (z Cars) with an interchangeable rap section where Mr Rascal rap's the team names out; can be p***wammed with separate recordings of each squad player's name and edited together before kick-off.

    Everybody happy.
