The more I think about this, the more I like the idea: He has a history of nurturing youth, who later leave for decent sums (the idea behind the pozzos owning us) He likes attention, but not in a "look at me, I'm awesome way" he likes going out and meeting fans (like Forestieri) His side are hugely attacking, with plenty of goals scored and conceded, we have 0 problems with scoring goals so bound to score a lot.
Zeman sounds lake a manager quite a long way past his sell by. Personally, I would rather Beppe stay on for another year if we are going to persist with a head coach with Italian experience. I think we need a change, but it needs to be a positive one reflecting ambition. Zeman may have been an experienced hand to put upon the rudder at the time we were initially trying to sign him, when we eventually signed Beppe, but as a long term choice, I am not so sure. Perhaps it would have been better to shore up the season with Zeman, then bring in Beppe for the summer. Also, I would not like it if he brought in any unproven, Czech light weights with loyalty issues, even if they fit right in with some of the current team.
It would be incredibly entertaining, and I actually think we have the personal for a fast paced 4-3-3. Just imagine what he could do with an Abdi, Tozser and McGugan midfield. I genuinely think Vydra could score 30 goals playing Zeman football. Our own Czech power couple (if Matej can be tempted by Zeman and regular football). Make this happen Papa Pozzo!
Agreed, but may I also throw 'it may turn out average' into the ring? Personally, I'm certain he would get us relegated, so quite happy with this.
Also the Pozzos may be wanting an attacking style again because gates were hugely up when playing attractive football under Zola and this time we've got an east stand to fill too.

Forgot to post, he's now in charge of Cagliari after the mental Leeds bloke sold them. Just to put a cross through it once and for all!
