Watford loanees

Both Jarett and Theo Robinson scored twice in 2-1 wins for their respective clubs on Saturday. Jarett scored a PK and then a great left foot strike into the top corner.
Theo bagged both Wealdstone's goals in their 2-1 win over Tiverton.

Carlise and Ashikodi also started for Luton and Bradford respectively whilst Diagouraga didn't feature for Rotherham.

Watford Loanees 2014/15

I'm actually surprised we haven't got something like this so we can keep track of our loanees elsewhere, but I'll start it off anyways. Just watching the Blackburn-Wednesday game now and McGugan has gone off on a stretcher and a neck/head brace. I didn't entirely see the incident but I guess from seeing the immediate aftermath he collided with a Blackburn player and landed on his neck heavily. Don't think he's going to be playing for a while...

Can we have a list of who is out on loan and where? Also of exactly who is on loan with us and for how long.

I've had a look on the official site, but cannot seem to glean this information from there; maybe one of you more computer savvy types can come up with the information, thank you.

Clicking on "detailed" tab, looks like the best striker among our players out on loan is ... Belkalem!

 

Do any of the tech savvy types know if we have a recall clause for assombalonga?

 

According to my sources any striker under the age of 23 are for forming a queue to join Peterbrough so not worth recalling him IMHO.

 

massive potential...talented, spirited, passionate, aggressive, attacking mid-fielder. Should be recalled...impact sub to rev things up when Abdi et al are knackered from being shut down for 75 mins...

 

I've not seen much of him, admittedly, but I can't see much evidence of him having massive potential - certainly no more than several other academy players. Is there anything other than a good attitude which suggests he may ever be successful at this level?

 

Nice lad, technically very good, will never cut it at championship level physically

 

Would love to see it happen but he's not exactly making much impact at Conference South level. He's way below the standard required and I doubt he'll get another year after this one.

 

he's a young lad with someway to go; i recall his appearance against barnsley, he was like a man possessed. Physically, he's about 10st in a wet pullover, but that can be worked on. I'd rather him than McBoo.

 

There's a part of me that would prefer to see him over a player like McGugan, but it's that same part that sometimes forgets just how many terrible Saturday afternoons I spent watching below-par players kick the ball around because they're cheap and came through the academy and love the club.

He's not 17 and a little Lionel Messi. He's 20 and not doing much better than average at Wealdstone.

He may surprise me, but from what I've seen (and I've already admitted that isn't much), I just can't see him ever playing at the level we're at - definitely a shame. If we progress as planned, he'd be even further away.

 

Bernard Mensah has returned to Watford after his loan spell at Barnet was not extended. A funny one because I remember reading Martin Allen saying that he wanted to extend the deal. Not sure why that's not happened.

 

Perhaps the club or Bernard wanted a club where he'd start regular games?

 

I read Mensah has played as RWB in the nice win of U21 against Leeds.
Maybe SJ blocked the re-loan saying that the lad may be useful for first team?

I think Mensah's loan is irrelevant when it comes to the U21s as players who are out on loan can play in the fixture. As far as I am aware, the loan extension is being negotiated.

 

A mate of mine, one of the few people who knew the Wealdstone Raider before he went viral, is a Wealdstone season ticket holder and says O'Nien is the best thing he's seen at the club for years. Scored a fair few and gets lots of assists.

Said he had Jordan Parkes (whoooooooooooo) in his pocket for the entirety of their game with Hemel Hempstead.

He said the same thing about Assombalonga a few years back too.

 

O'Nien has scored once. Last weekend.

 

Irrelevant how many goals he has scored. Elz is talking about his performances.
