A team in distress and desperately needing some points? Send up the Hornet Signal and watch us roll over!
Game day. Big result needed.
Come On You Orns!!!!!!!!
Hoping for a win.
Dreaming of a perfect Assombalonga hat-trick (left foot cross deflected in, right foot off the crossbar then in off the goalies' backside, accidental back header while looking the other way)
And that’s after coming on as sub in the 78th minute!
He's magic you know
You just know that someone at Watford forgot to put the clause in about Fletcher not playing against us, and he'll score the winner.
Yes, there’s virtually no difference between Britt and Geri.
Britt is like Geri but "one of our own" so will always be the fans favourite.
Absolutely. Both have tricky to spell surnames...
Hoping that now we have successfully surpassed the 50 points mark, we can play some of the U18s for this one
True. If any impress we could pick up a few £250ks in compensation from the prem league clubs who whisk them away.
"Every little helps".
Way too many aces in that for it to really be connected to us…
u sayin that the scor will b 11-11 m8 thats opptimistik
The Brum match was very open and the score-line was one-sided because Birmingham had the worst strikers this side of Mars.
The key to Wilder Success is for the attack to continue with faster, better, confident moves culminating in a shot or header every time. But the midfield defending needs to tighten up.
Surely bottom-placed Wigan present a big opportunity to consolidate that.
Unchanged as expected. Still no Sarr.
Forgot that Wigan would be without their star striker today.
Sarr may well be fit, but Wilder did say nobody has a right to be selected. So there is a chance he has shown nothing in training to suggest he should be picked. It's only one of a few possibilities mind.
They have one?
Don't think they play with strikers in Rugby League mate
Ashley Fletcher. Admittedly he's not very good at that putting the ball in the net thing, but he has been playing regularly for them of late.
On the other hand, by not picking him today he keeps him fresh (if there is a fitness issue) and allows him more time to be ready and available for 2 weeks time!
Agree with the unchanged lineup but would be interested to know why sarr isn’t even in the squad
Making a point or injured ??
The loan agreement should have insisted he must play.
I dont see where he fits into Wilders system though. Would rather we didnt play him than stick him somewhere he cant play.
Still injured ?
Was missing on Tuesday for that reason.
Shout box up
So Davis was a natural goalscorer all along, but Sarr was holding him back?
I thought they said the injury wasn't too serious and he could have played on Tuesday, but seeing as he isn't even in the squad, I imagine he's not fit now, it's not as if it's unusual for us for someone to return to fitness far later than anticipated!
Sarr wasn't included in the Senegal squad either so reckon he's actually injured
It was said in shoutbox that it's a bit scrappy stop start.. my take is that we are having a go at playing the ball forward that we were not before. My complaint under Bilic and Edwards was keeping the ball is pointless if we don't ever try a through ball more than once a game.
Wilder going with Davis and Assambalonga is a bold move in the race for ‘most immobile Championship strike force of all time’.
8 straight wins and we are right back in it.
We are staying down, I said we are staying down
