I can see Hodgson wanting to keep Gosling, good old pro and all that rubbish. Nkoulou, Rose and Sema the ones to leave tomorrow I reckon. No incomings obviously.
Nkoulou didn’t do anything wrong when he played, in fact he was injured in the Man U victory, the problem is we have too many players at the same level, he I feel is no worse or no better than others.
He's better than the others, but he doesn't have a long term contract and he's still out injured, which leaves him annoyingly vulnerable.
Sky Sports Transfer Show's hilarious opening dual-monologue of all clubs just said of us 'it's going to be quiet tomorrow, but maybe, just maybe, they may go in for one more defender'. Make of that whatever you will (presumably very little).
I find it hilarious that Gino is undoubtedly sat somewhere right now believing he’s done good business this window and addressed our weaknesses adequately.
I think a few might leave tomorrow, at least I hope so!!! Furthermore I think we might get a surprise incomer, though I think it will probably be a loan rather than a permanent signing.
Phil Jones, Nat Phillips and Joe Rodon could all be on the move tomorrow. They would all be upgrades.
Yep, for whichever team that decides they’re serious about strengthening their squad, and buys an upgrade. So, not us, obviously.
Mixed reaction on here last time he was mentioned but to be expected. https://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/phil-jones.58676/
Whilst he’s not brilliant in my opinion, Kieffer Moore is going to Bournemouth for £3.5m. Would much rather have him as an option than Ashley Fletcher.
Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Todd Cantwell from Norwich. A loan with an option to buy. I'm a bit surprised by that.
Bournemouth have made 3 very good signings on paper in the last few days. Dembele, Rothwell and Moore. The b*******. Edit: and Cantwell?! Christ, at least we won’t have to play the cheating fecks next season.
Makes sense for Cantwell really, if he stays at Norwich he’ll be a championship player next season so may as well take the gamble Bournemouth go up.
Bournemouth definitely rolling the dice a bit here. Also got Rothwell in from Blackburn for £3m. Edit and also Cantwell as well I see above!
Weird Bournemouth didn’t try harder last season as that’s when it’s easiest/cheapest, but I guess the owner thought they had enough in the squad already. Hopefully they fail and end up like Derby in a couple of seasons time.
We are going to pass Bournemouth likes ships in the night this summer as we go in opposite directions. I'm pretty sure they'll go up with Fulham despite their slump recently. In a few years our 'rivalry' will be a distant memory of a time long gone.
I don’t think they could afford to spend last season, even with the market prices for players being “lower” than usual. They were something like 50 million in debt, even after selling Aké to Man City for £40 million.
It’s going to be like a game of musical chairs, with the music eventually stopping the season we’re back in the championship and they get promoted again and Parachute Payments are scrapped…
Weghorst confirmed by Burnley. Newcastle soon to announce Burn and Targett, with a bid now accepted for Ekitite. Have to admit, I think there’s a chance that all the above will be crap. Until we lose to Burnley at the weekend, I can’t deny I have some faint, lingering, misguided hope.
You may think I'm being really stupid but are these new signings going to be allowed to played the postponed covid games?
