If we are looking at Billing from Muff, ask yourself would you of took him before Gosling? I would and as uninspiring as the Gosling transfer was it proved a lot wrong on here. Premier league experience Girralta apparently hogging all the sun beds on boscombe beach equals done deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You'd think if he does come that would have to be accompanied by a contract extension for Nathaniel. If Nate isn't keen to sign a new deal, I can't imagine that would make us an attractive option for his brother. Trevoh appears to be a quality young player, though. Did well at Lorient and can play CB or DM.
Why? Nate left Chelsea and his younger brother to join us in pursuit of regular game time at PL level. If we offered his brother the same but Nate now wants to move on, I doubt sibling attachment would affect that at all really. They will want to forge their own way in the game and I doubt they feel they need to follow each other relentlessly in achieve that.
Maybe. But I'd imagine that if Nate is leaving it's because there's some sort of behind the scenes frustration that we're not seeing, particularly as there isn't even a clear/attractive suitor. If that's the case, then he'll hardly provide us with a stirring endorsement.
Those rumours about a certain Everton player mentioned earlier on in this thread seem to be true, as far as him having been arrested that is, all over the official channels and confirmed by Everton.
Rumours are that is a 31 year old first team player. Looking at the Everton roster, they only have Sigurdsson and Delph of that age.
He’s been with us a number of years as a player - I don’t think we need to worry about an endorsement really. And I’d suggest the former point is entirely down to his contract running down - he may well sign a new one (I think he will) but if he doesn’t, he may just feel like his time here is at a natural end and he will get a new experience either this summer or next. I don’t think there’s anymore to it than that.
Is it confirmed by Everton? Where? There seems to be as much conjecture that it’s not the player mentioned as there is rumour that it is indeed him. There’s also a Leeds player’s name floating around for example.
Can these comments be moved to it's own thread, I have no interest in reading about stuff like this, it sickens me. Any posters please don't take offence to this.
Supposed Palace ITK on Twitter tweeted that we’re one of a number of clubs interested in Lookman. https://twitter.com/wheddsta/status/1417438086330523665?s=21
Nat Chalobah was due to sign a couple of days ago but with pen in hand he decided to have a further think about it for a day or two.
Not sure why he gets such a battering on here. Half a season here after a full season in Norway, out of position, still top assist maker and we went from barely play-offs to automatic promotion with him in the side. Poor guy must be wondering what he's done so wrong. That said I don't think he fits the "lad culture" of Watford. Seems a very smart, sophisticated guy.
If we were still in the Championship, I'd be very excited to see what Zinckernagel could do with a full pre-season and in a more natural position (with Sarr having been sold to Palace for £10m of course), but the Premier League is a different beast. It'll most likely be Louza in the more advanced role, with either Quina or Zinckernagel as backup, and the other being sent to the Championship either on loan or on a cut-price deal
The best teams in the Superliga would finish around 6th-12th in the Champ imo. The quality then diminishes pretty quickly down to probably top half L1.
That's great but doesn't make you a good footballer. I thought his decision making was a little slow which is a concern. Hoping EPL suits him better than The Championship
Kamaldeen Sulemana was the player before he went to Rennes a week or two ago. I'd prefer Jens Cajuste from Midtjylland instead who I believe has been mentioned before. Looks some player.
