I'm very upset about how quiet this one's gone, having Heurteaux, Prodl, Cathcart and Angella to choose from would be pretty mouth watering. Can someone please pretend to be ITK on this one and cheer me up?
I'll be logical and tell you that he's 26 with pretty big clubs scratching at the door. Don't hold your breath.
And Hoban. If Florrie plays 4 at the back, that's too many. I'd rather we got some full-backs in (or wing-backs if I'm wrong about Folrrie's preference).
Looks like hes going to Roma, from TuttoUdinese EXCLUSIVE TU - Heurtaux to Rome: Udinese 4 mln plus one in Sanabria, Carbonero or Paredes 06/17/2015 15:30 Stephen Pontoni TwitterontoniStefano article read 799 times © photo DANIELE MASCOLO / PHOTOVIEWS EXCLUSIVE TU - Heurtaux to Rome: Udinese 4 mln plus one in Sanabria, Carbonero or Paredes Roma approaches Thomas Heurtaux. After two years of growing calcisiticamente with Udinese, now the defender Francesce is ready for a big jump in. A parable on the rise in the footsteps of Benatia with destination Rome. Sabatini has, in fact, up to 4 million bid to buy the class at Udinese in 1988, offering in addition to loan a player in Sanabria, Carbonero and Paredes. Especially the first two profiles are appreciated by Pozzo and already in January had been close to Juventus. Also positive contacts between the Roma and the player's entourage. The agreement appears to step in and week could get the white smoke, so anticipate that competition from other clubs
...but weirdly enough there is a more recent article saying this.. There is also the Watford for Heurtaux and Geijo 06/18/2015 13:30 Stephen Pontoni Twitter : PontoniStefano article read 50 times © photo DANIELE MASCOLO / PHOTOVIEWS There is also the Watford for Heurtaux and Geijo Besides Gabriel Silva , two more Bianconeri could find accommodation in the English society of the Pozzo family , Watford , newly promoted to the Premier : defender Thomas Heurtaux and Iberian striker Alexandre Geijo . The two Bianconeri could be among the first reinforcements summer Hornets looking for players to improve the squad for the upcoming Premier League .
It's quite obvious that Heurtaux will not be at Udinese nest season. At one stage I thought he may end up with us. But now we have added Prodl plus reports that we have made an offer for Basa I can't see it happening. Especially if Flores does play a back 4. But I would be very happy if he did end up with us.
If they can sell Hertaux for 4m, and negotiate the loan so that we can have Paredes for a season i'll be a very very happy man.
Can we make it a forum rule that you have to post the English text along with links to foreign language reports? Not having a go, just on some work machines translation engines are blocked as they flag as proxies
It says: given the doubts about the recovery of Castan and failure to surrender to Astori, the Roma would be looking for a central defender. As reported by TV Journal, in the past few weeks or was made of the name of Thomas Heurtaux, with Sabatini that would offer 4 million euros to Udinese for the central French. Considering the proposal of the Capitoline too low, Udinese they seem willing to send the French to Watford.
That's why i'm thinking maybe there's some weight behind the Destro rumours. 4m and a season or 2 long loan for Destro sounds fair.
I'm sure you know more than I do about this Reids, but aren't you limited to the amount of international loans you can in a season? If so, is filling them up with 2 strikers really worthwhile (One of them being Vydra)
I can't remember the outcome of the discussion about the ruling about that. I agree if we are limited to an amount of international loans then we don't really need him (despite him being way better than Vydra and Ighalo). Could be worth it if we're not limited though.
For Destro, then filling up a loan slot is absolutely worthwhile. Pretty sure he is moving to Monaco though
FFS they are not loans, they're temporary international transfers. Just keep repeating it to yourself until it becomes rote.
Contract hire m8. Hand back after 3 years. Free maintenance as well (within fair wear and tear policy)
Can't believe we'd still want him with Prodl and Britos signed up. 3 new CH's in addition to the quality we had would seem overkill.
We're going to tear up the Under 21s league. That's our target for this season - to make up for missing out on the Championship.
