Now we should know, (lol), that the early pirate style is the wolf.

 

Have I missed something? How should we know that the pirate style is the wolf?

5658, yesterday it was 5657. Could be a reference to the number of posts a member has? The binary idea, as beautiful as it was, can be debunked.

 

A strange choice for me IF this was from the seer though - what if its not? But why do you both think or are making everyone believe it is from the seer ?

We have had one message all week naming someone as evil, cassetti's beard, so isn't this consistent with wo we all thought was the wolf before the dead seer message?

This message didn't say anything about being a back up seer, which surprised me.

 

It did mention the 'previous seer', so they are consistent.

 

Round up of messages in the order they arrived each day:

Day 1:
Pirate Style: Cthulhu is good
Plain Style: Cthulhu is good

Day 2:
Pirate Style: Harrow Orn is good
Plain Style: Cassetti's Beard is evil

Day 3:
Plain Style: WatfordTalk is good
Pirate Style: Burnsy is good

Day 4:
Plain Style: Claimed backup Seer is dead. Moog is good.
Pirate Style: Warehouse is good

Day 5:
Plain Style: Diamond is good

Two of those are who we're after.
Ashdon ridiculously quiet yesterday and EBHornet today, (both blame work). That's my view at this time.

Sure. Firstly, I caught up with the messages I missed yesterday.

Secondly, it was actually your comment. I don't see any reason why a wolf (especially Diamond) would kill WT, given they were arguing for the non-pirate message being from the seer.

An inexperienced beta could have killed WT, but that would make Diamond the alpha, and I don't think an alpha would go out on such a limb about the order of the messages yesterday.

Hence the fair enough comment.

Just caught up - good overview, would like to also see how those gone from that list got removed. I'll do my own research though rather than expect someone else to.

Agreed I don't say much, but I've been the main person gunning for Skyla for 2 days and was proved correct yesterday so hopefully that's some credit to my name.

 

I'm intrigued as to whether there will be a second message or not (I.e. was Skyla the alpha?)

I'm not convinced that that first message is actually from the Seer. I would not have viewed you, Diamond, had I been in that position off the back of the confirmation that WT was good.

WT & Burnsy were both named good on day 3 in both messages, both have been proved to be correct. One of those was obviously a wolf message, but which?

As I have maintained throughout, I don't think it's likely that CB was in fact the Tinker - purely by playing the odds - so my inclination is that the pirate style messages are our Seer. They have been consistent in pretty much everything they've said day to day, and so far Cthulhu and Burnsy have been confirmed Good in some way or another. wfcwarehouse has also not really peaked my interest too much.

Ahoy, what a great feelin' today. We have reduced th' wolves from three t' two.

Today I have used me periscope t' view With A Smile. My discovery be interestin' t' say th' least.

On day 1 I viewed Cthulhu. On day 2 I viewed Harrow Orn. On Day 3 I viewed Burnsy, and a bottle of rum, to be sure! On Day 4 I viewed wfcwarehouse. All have been viewed as Good shipmates... Up 'til now, Arrr.

If I had to put With a Smile in my list of suspects, he'd be firmly in the null pile. I.e. no real opinion and bang in the middle.

That message certainly spices things up, doesn't it? Surely we have to lynch WAS today? If they are truly evil then we are 100% sure about the pirate being the seer. If they are good then WAS is the tinker (that would suck) or the pirate is a wolf. Information to be gained either way.

 

Today I was named as good by the style I claimed yesterday to be the Seers. I know I'm good, therefore I know it's highly likely to be the Seer.
You will know if this is correct or not based on previous views.

Yeah but what if CB was the tinker? And the messages are the other way round? I.e. pirate wolf and other messages the seer? This would mean WAS isn't a tinker and has just been framed.

Another post I'm a little sus of as you are completely closing the door to other possibilities. Again whether this is you being new or you trying to push us the wrong way is 50/50 as far as I'm concerned.

In my opinion we are still non the wiser regarding the messages.

On the plus side I can tell you 100% that Diamond is good and the 1st message is from the seer

Would a wolf have been voting early for someone, every day, usually not the obvious candidate, not following the crowd
Throwing wild accusations about on day 1 to get the game moving ?
I've been happy to challenge posts, to put my thoughts down, not try to divert anyone to view or lynch anyone.
If i do go at least it clears up the message confusion

Maybe it is my inexperience showing. I was pretty confident about the messages, but it might be time to take a step back and reconsider. There does seem to be an increasing support for the pirate being a wolf, more support than evil would manage on their own.
