Sannino can't play more than 11 players at once, the squad is too big with too many players that are better than being on the bench at this level. This was bound to happen.

    Breaking:-

Lloyd Dyer was unhappy because Sannino kept calling him 'Kieron' in training and asking him if his toe was alright.

What Dyer shouted at Sannino was 'Get out of my face! I don't need no has-beens in my corner. And you better wipe that look off your face before I knock it off. You wanna jump, JUMP! Come on! Come on, Creed! Come on!'

Well we really do not do things in a normal straight forward manner. 7th spot after three games with our only blemish being an away loss to one of the favourites, having played the game with 10 men, yet things do not seem to be rosy in the garden.

It would seem incredible to replace a manager in those circumstances. But perhaps a brave decision is needed, if there is indeed a breakdown in relations between players and manager. Perhaps a mediator could be asked to intervene.

The timing is far from ideal for a change of management team. On paper, we are in a great position with three home games against Yorkshire opposition coming up, each game winnable.

Never a dull moment and all that.

WT, read Jon Marks' timeline. It says all you need to know. It's over. Or should be soon.

Did anyone read this, before worrying about "angry players" and "shouts from the dressing room"?

    http://www.lionelbirnie.com/beppe/

"When I arrived the players were down and listless. To shake them up, get their pride stirring, I tried to shock them, effing and blinding. At all of them, about everything. To be a winner you have to get angry."

"Sannino builds a bulletproof bond with his players: when a new one arrives, Sannino asks to be greeted with a ‘Vaffanculo!’ – ‘**** you!’ – to immediately break down a barrier between them and relax into the environment. It’s not ***-packet psychology, although the technique may seem a touch primitive: at Coverciano, the Italian national academy for aspiring coaches, Sannino graduated having written his thesis on ‘the coach-player relationship’. So he’s done his homework. And what he calls the ‘therapeutic insult’ is an important prong to his method."

He said we weren't angry enough against Norwich, and last night positively described Rotherham as an angry team. He certainly got Lloyd Dyer angry!

I suggest it's as simple as getting a bilingual assistant in. Beppe directs instructions to the defenders through Angella and those to the midfield through Abdi (and Toszer when he will listen) . Neither are the most talkative so they abridge Beppe's long messages down to a few words, and that must frustrate the hell out of the British players. Despite the pictures of Beppe and pals taking training, what I saw (admittedly only in 1 session) was Beppe acting alone and the others being little more than cone placers and ball boys. Beppe also conducts things from some 20-30 metres away to get an overview of the situation, so there's a lot of shouting (in Italian naturally) and various players trying to show others where they should be. People say he's got a teacher and Marco Caesarini but even if a TEFL teacher speaks Italian, s/he won't be equipped to convey tactical stuff, nor will Marco as he's a medic.

From what I've heard and this from a player.. the players can't stand him, we need to get rid and soon or this season will turn into a disaster.

Surely if they couldn't stand him, they felt the same way last season? Why did we keep him if this is the case?

If you've said this YK then I believe the rumours!

Is there anything specifically they dislike? Him generally, his methods, his attitude?

Like YK says, if the players really do dislike him, it WILL affect performances and our season will go downhill pretty quickly. With some of the teams in the league this season, we really don't want to get too far behind at any stage and play catch up.

Any reasonable person can see something isn't right. Search your feelings, you know it to be true...

I'm not sure I buy this completely.

Vydra coming back, no transfer request from Deeney? If it was truly hell on earth, would they be here? And Toszer?

    Need input Stephanie.

And Dyer signing when i'm sure he'd have spoken to players at the club about the manager and he probably had other options. Something doesn't add up, but there seems to be too much smoke for there not to be any fire.

    Seriously?

Money + contract length talks, hence the main reason why Dyer signed. He has an income even if he's in the reserves. Just think about it a second. Let it dwell in your mind, why he might have signed a 3 year contract with us and not a 1 year with Leicester?

Observe the celebration last night, this was not normal.

People on here are believing what they want to believe I think. Look at it logically, not as a Watford supporter. This twists our view of things.

It was quoted by somebody last night that it isn't all to do with selection so god knows what is going on but it needs to end one or another very quickly. Judging from what YK says, this isn't one or two players but quite a lot of them and that is a major problem. They either knuckle down and get on with it or if it's gone too far, Sannino must go which I actually think will be a shame as I quite like him. Whatever the outcome, do it quickly

Hands up if you don't like your boss?

He's not there to be their friend, the players really need to stop moaning and get on with playing football. If they're struggling to understand his tactics and instructions then that needs sorting, but if they simply dislike him or his methods then they need to grow up.

I'm sure in every squad there will be players who don't like the boss but it seems as though it's more than one or two. Would be interesting to know that if it's not selection that is the problem, what is?

They can hate him as long as they respect him. I doubt many players at Man U liked Alex Ferguson, but they wouldn't celebrate in his face and shout at him after scoring off the bench. Doesn't seem to me they respect Sannino, the impression I get is they just think he's a nutcase who doesn't know what he's doing.

Louis Van Gaal has insisted that all players speak English, not cos he wants to be clever or big or out of any nationalistic reasons but purely n simply because its a universal language and clear n precise communication is imperative in football. And despite what people say, speaking Italian may come in handy when sharing a joke in the Directors box but it gonna confuse the fark out of players n eventually **** the off. which is clearly (scuse the pun) muddying the waters at the mo n not helping anyone.

This is what I just luurv about this Forum!

All these people posting stuff about the players relationship with BP as if they absolutely know 100% what is going on in the dressing room!

Face facts not even the Journalists really know anything of substance, its all just speculation right now!

I'm not going to deny that anything is going on, I don't have a 'Scooby' like the rest of you........but its all good fun! :]]

There is absolutely no point in all this 'wailing and gnashing of teeth' until something of substance occurs!

Everybody says that education comes first but I think we are in another country, not in London! No no we are in Watford with subtitles (angry emoticon)

Fernando Forestieri tweet a minute ago. Sounds to me like education (learning to speak English comes first) but it feels like we are in Italy (cos of Sannino) not in London. Watford with subtitles (translator)

    VERY worrying if true.

Or it could be too many languages in the dressing room and players are not learning English.

Not sure why either English or Italian would be a problem for FF.
