i wonder if all the moaners who werent happy last week will bloomin cheer up now, really never seen such a bunch of moany watford fans. like selfish kids who didnt get the right tablet for xmas. Yet again we have a preseason of doom and gloom from certain parts of the fanbase. Wonder what Nath thinks about all this. yet again the pozzos deliver. yes some new players may not turn out alright but we have never had this type of calibre of player at our club. not one but 3 or 4 high level players. (well thats what people on the web say they are.) time to get back onside witht he pozzos. i think they have done an amzing job. when some were syaing throw money at this and that. they have go 2 players for about 15 mill. thank god some of u's arent running the club.
Twitter is absolutely losing it over this signing. It's always gratifying to see the rest of the PL look at us slightly stunned.
Ladies and gentlemen....little larry lightweight has entered the thread. Make sure you drink plenty of water before you go to bed mate.
I'm delighted, yet also a little upset that my hopes won't once again be dashed in respect of this transfer, only for the embers to be reignited two weeks later. Gino's such a tease.
Fantastic signing. Wonderful news. It's a strange feeling to be heading to a match today but to be already looking forward to the next one in the league too!! Looking forward to seeing Pereyra. (and Kaboul/Success) It's a big challenge for him to get his career back on track after an injury-hit season, and to find his feet quickly in a new league and country. But no doubt he will. Such a talented player. His challenge will now be to try and add more goals and assists to his huge ability. Bring it on!!
Wow, you reap what you sow...now that's what I call 'negotiation' "This is a bare minimum profit made on the Argentine, who was signed from Udinese in 2015. In truth, the deal was spread out, as Juve paid Udinese €1.5m to get him on loan in 2014, then a further €14m to make the move permanent. It is perhaps because of these circumstances that Watford are allowed to spread the payments over four years, as the English Premier League club is owned by the Pozzo family - who also run Udinese." http://www.football-italia.net/90063/watford-pay-€13m-pereyra
From the Juventus official site. Get me a ****ing wet wipe. "Neat and tidy in possession, the Argentine boasts the perfect mix of creativity, guile and unselfishness, providing an impressive 68 opportunities for his team-mates in 48 appearances, the third-highest for the Bianconeri over the course of the last two seasons behind only Paul Pogba (91) and Claudio Marchisio (71)."
Fair play to Gino for climbing that steep learning curve you were talking about, in a matter of about a week and a half
I saw this chant elsewhere, bloody genius if you ask me. "Everywhere you go, always take Pereya with you, everywhere you go always take Pereya".
Its great seeing things like this posted on twitter: 'What a signing Roberto Pereyra is for Watford! Lord knows how they've pulled that off.'
10 years ago we had Matt Spring and Gavin Mahon bossing our midfield, now we've got Pereyra and Capoue, how times have changed.
I like this one from an Arsenal fan: Man, how are Watford attracting players like Roberto Pereyra and we can't attract players like Vardy, Lacazette and Mahrez
This reporter thinks we have the next Hamsik!! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...d_be_the_next_Hamsik___says_Italian_reporter/
Thanks Talkie. I don't think you meant to, but you have just highlighted the fact that I seem to have hit the nail on the head.
By the fact that your post highlights exactly what I said. That despite Gino having a steep learning curve, he would get around it. You're not mistaking Hornet23's cringe worthy post, where he criticised me for saying that Gino would undoubtedly learn from the experience and figure it out, for one of mine are you? As I say. Nail on head, and as a side dish, you and 23 once again show that you don't need anyone else to point out your intellectual frailties. You guys, at times, seem to spend as much time arguing with people whose opinion is similar to yours (just articulated differently) than you do with the people you don't agree with.
