I do actually think he is ITK. An idiot maybe but he appears to know his stuff from last summer. He's also blocked me on Twitter for some reason.
Holly68 is itk as far as I'm concerned. People seem to have linked him being a ****** with him being a stirrer. Last summer he got all our transfer dealings spot on. Things might've just got very interesting indeed, although of course he could be very wrong.
No idea. But he has a proven track record of being ITK. Things might be about to get very interesting I think...
To be fair Holly is actually a nice guy, he was close to the club and now not so much, but he did in fact inform me of Gomes when we were still interested in STECH, the same person that told him of Gomes has told him of Di matteo, it looks like there may be some truth in this lets hope that there is.
Two snippets of info for you, according to my well informed source: 1. Holly was itk last summer. But he's not now. 2. The deal is on...
My friend started a Spurs ITK account as a wind up and now has over 15,000 followers, despite having no information at all. He told me all he does is guess based on rumours, and if it's wrong bring out excuses like the deal was in place but fell through. I don't really trust many people on twitter, for that reason.
Holly68 repeats every rumour under the sun and then deletes the ones that prove to be wrong. A broken clock... and all that. RDM might be coming, he might not. What is interesting to me is Udinese haven't appointed a manager yet.
If he did come that 25/1 Watford to win title looks reasonably good value...but only if we get Big Chris back
I see Leeds are now in the hunt for a new manager. Perhaps their Italian owner wants RDM or ITK for that matter. Am I right in thinking that today ( May 31st ) is the last day RDM is contracted to Chelsea with regards to payments etc. tomorrow he is technically free to move on. Right?
I think it's more the idea that Beppe goes to Udinese and Roberto comes here. It's strange that they're trying to get a Champions League winning manager for their Championship club rather than their Serie A club, I'd be pissed off if I were an Udinese fan! Plus Tozser could probably play for Udinese yet they're looking to sign him and send him straight here it seems.
Given the money the 'group' would earn if we do get promoted to the premier league you can understand why we may get a bit of priority now. When you consider Cardiff earned more money getting relegated than United did the year before winning the league it's quite astounding how much money is on offer.
I'm led to believe Beppe was offered the Udinese job but wanted to stay with Watford. Ps. Apologies to the source behind this info if I shouldn't have repeated it...
rdm is far more likely to sign for udinese than ourselves. can anyone really see this happening? i can't I'm afraid. happy to be proven wrong, but just can't see a way it will happen.
Whatever happens, I'm sure we will find out in the next few weeks. Players are due back for training on June 23rd and I would assume whoever is manager then will be when the season starts. A few things that do strike me as being a little suspicious: 1. This rumour has been spreading like wildfire recently. Usually with such rumours I would expect a player to tweet something saying how absurd it is, but nobody has to my knowledge. 2. The WO love confirming or negating rumours. But they've not said a word. I suspect this could be because they would look stupid if they confirmed RDM wasn't joining and then he did, and the club are likely to keep more quiet on this than usual so bigger clubs don't come in at the 11th hour. Many clubs in the prem will be aware he's available and are no doubt eying him as a possible appointment should that club struggle during the season. 3. He has refused an offer abroad despite being in talks with them. 4. My source says it's on the cards. 5. Beppe hasn't done many interviews recently, it's just been the players such as Anya and Deeney. 6. I was led to believe that Ekstrand said he would never play under Beppe again after the end of season fiasco. His position has changed somewhat as he has recently said he's looking forward to next season and putting things right. What's changed here? 7. RDM was seen in Watford this week despite living in Horley, on the outskirts of Warwickshire/Oxfordshire. 8. There have been a number of managerial vacancies this summer yet not one has seemed to approach RDM. Is this because the agent has issued a "hands off" warning to those who took interest? 9. Part two of the Pozzo interview has been delayed for it's release. 10. I don't need a tenth as the other nine were so great...
Have to say he would be a great appointment. Knows the division well and is used to the style of management structure.
This is a very very good point. Quick bit of research revealed that the Serie A winners gets about £10 mill (13 mill Euros). The winner of the Champions League gets about £ 10 mill. So if Udinese won an historic title and European Cup double they would still be about £40 mill worse off than the team who comes bottom of the EPL ( Cardiff won 63m this year)
Di Matteo lives in London with his family. Join us, and he does not need to re-locate. He's won the CL. What's his next challenge? Win it again I guess, but that's very difficult unless you get the job at Barca, Bayern, Man City etc. So how about a totally different challenge...working for good (Italian) owners, a fairly talented crop of players, a team who came only 13th last season and therefore probability wise are likely to improve on that without too much effort next season, in a league you've already had some experience of getting promoted from in the past. Money? Yes of course we don't pay much compared to bigger clubs, but then again he's become very rich anyway through NOT managing Chelsea!
