Why the negativity? More goals than Deeney.

5 goals and 2 assists in a pretty rubbish Hull team. Would be our best attacking force at this current point.

 

Gareth McAuley has more goals than Deeney, doesn't mean I want him playing for us.

We lack home grown players, creative players and goal scorers.

He fits all three and I would have him if he was cheap. He puts in a shift and would immediately be ready to hit the ground running.

However, he isn't good enough to be a long term solution, so I'm not that fussed either way.

If true, yes they've got the money, but surely weakens Hull massively.

Although he's 29, good signing for Burnley, really couldn't see them going down this season, and less so after this.
