Yep...that's the fan protest out of the way. Now we can concentrate on the bright new Bilic era.

You’d think RE could’ve afforded a better sign tbh.

I was a lot younger then. It would take me about 5 mins to get over the wall now!

TuT still happy it seems. No surprise. If you really think it’s only a handful of fans that are disgusted with the ownership then you are mistaken.

I still can’t be bothered to protest mind you. I’ll just stop going unless I’m absolutely at a loose end. Pozzo’s circus is the very lowest of my priorities these days and I’ve got two blooming season tickets!

I'd protest more if I didn't have to be around people that protest.

I've boycotted the club since they rehired Quique. I knew then that they were going to run the club into the ground. The only question was whether they were doing it willingly or through their own incompetence.

Imagine actually taking the time to make that, then going to the stadium and putting it on the GT memorial. Surely at some point while cutting out the cardboard, looking for a marker pen, scribbling the message, threading the string, getting in the car and driving with it to Vicarage Road you might think "hang on, what the f**k am I doing?"

No not happy. But not "disgusted", just a little more disconnected with the cold clinical transient nature of players and coaches, and concerned over finances. I think for 3 years or so they have done a poor job of running the club which reduces our enjoyment and significantly reduces the value of their investment, but it's too small a part of my life to feel the level of fury others do. 3 years ago I thought they were gods. Sadly they aren't.

Why would they willingly turn a £200m+ asset back to a £25m or so asset ? They just aren't as good as they once were at running a football club.

    13 managers sacked?

I tend to find when these in match protests are talked about no one ends up taking part as the team are playing well or people just cannot be bothered.

The problem with booing in the Xth minute for the managers sacked is that it is only a short term measure. How long before the boos end up coming up in the second half ;)

Why boo during a game unless we are especially sh1t. It's Gino people are after isn't it? Arrange a protest outside the directors entrance if you want to do something. Nothing will happen though because despite all the arguments on here I've not seen anybody say they would organise something, more expecting Roy Moore or the bloke that makes the banners to do something. Whatever happens it won't change much. Man Utd fans have been protesting in a number of ways for a while now about the Glazers but nothings has happened

I'm also furious about Sally Lindsey on Pointless. She's awful. It was bad enough when she replaced Warwick on Tenable.

There’s been people on Twitter Spaces saying they would protest the training ground and the directors entrance to be fair. But think it’s accepted protest has to come from one of the groups widely known - that Sunday Service lot might’ve been most likely but it’s full of individual listeners, and the 2 ring-leaders of that thing live in America.

They could do with finding someone within their ranks on these shores who is a bit of a tub-thumper.

The likes of Ucko and Roy Moore seem like they think any protest is too much and would impact the football team on match day or whatever.

Ucko said one of his pals has ‘Bayat Out’ and ‘Gino Out’ banners. Let’s see if they come to fruition and if they stir anything. I doubt it as I think discontent at games has to come from large vocal numbers - I don’t accept that it’s only the minority who are unhappy, but I do think the majority are also not particularly keen on being vocal about it. So it’ll be a few protesting and they’ll likely be met with other a few Gino-Ultra’s, within everyone else tutting/power-clapping in the middle.

Apparently there is a public footpath through the training grounds people are allowed to walk on so maybe some could do a walking protest !

As basic as those signs at the ground and training ground are I’m reluctant to take the p*ss or criticise.

They’ve made an effort, it’s a start and this has to start somewhere.

We’ve justified the hire and fire approach due to our on field success over the years then laughed at it with Woy and Claudio. This one has hit differently though, there’s genuine anger out there at the way our club is being run.

In game booing is rubbish. There needs to be something pre-match outside the ground, something that’s gets people’s attention.

Is that partly because Edwards was actually quite popular and people liked him?

Rather than the unkowns or old school managers weve had before...

And that fact he plus Duxbury seemed to be pretty much been undermined by Pozzo clearly wanting to show who is boss.
