Do we know the ones not yet struck down with Covid? I only ask as we only have five days to get them infected for the West Ham game
Looks like he's ready to play, whack some boots on him and get him on pitch. Shame our next game isn't until February.
My father in law is a retired physio, and a former Luton player. After winding me up and telling me he's out for the season, he then said from the videos he thinks Sarr is 2 to 3 weeks away from training/playing
The club may well have made up the story about the second scan to get him out of AFCON. Surely we're not that smart?
2-3 weeks from being rushed back too soon and forced to play for 73 minutes in his comeback game at AFCON before limping off and being ruled out for the rest of the season.
Back at the training ground doesn’t help understand whether he is short or long term out but then again why give us info- we are only fans. Slightly better news on Sarr?
Ranieri has said Nkoulou will be out until March/April. Maybe not worth a place in the squad given the number of games he’ll miss.
We will probably be relegated by then (or very close to it). Shame, as the short amount of time he did appear in the side he looked one of the most committed of the brain dead back line. Although I do have every finger crossed these new recruits will go some way to rectify that.
Samir is available for "Palarse", but I have not seen anything on Dennis, I'm not even sure if he is injured at all
Another spell out for Sarr? Hope not. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19957588.watford-need-assess-fitness-ismaila-sarr/
When it says a "knock", they never specify what that is. Is it a bruised leg, headache from heading or something else? I totally understand they do not want to expose it for possible legality reasons, but a bit more information would help. Also, it seems from that Sarr 'should' be ok for Arsenal, looks like we will have Kiko back as well.
Sarr out for at least 3 weeks . Troost Ekong too - guess it was in training or he moved too quickly off the subs bench last week at the end .
That's a good point... WTE hasn't played for us anyway, since Brentford. Did he stub his toe getting on the team bus?
Just bumping this thread as don't know where to put this. But after todays latest injury update, have we ever had a group of players like we have over the past few years so susceptible to injuries that keep them out for weeks if not months? Ngakia for example how many injuries has he had in his time at the Club? Janmaat also springs to mind
Ngakia was probably never fit in the first place and rushed back to probably try and prove a point but it’s back fired .
Was it the same injury as the summer that he got? He had been named in and out of squads before being picked for Blackburn, but if there's any truth to that, it's truly a terrible reflection on Gaspar, imagine being overlooked in favour of a lefty and a half-fit RB
So currently we have no Choudhury (suspended not injured) Davis Manaj Louza Cleverley Cathcart Kalu Bayo Wow. I hope most of these are short-term and we have at least a couple back after the WC break. If not we are going to really struggle. Our bench has some decent quality like TDB and Hungbo and we might be seeing them a lot more over the coming weeks.
