"Yes please" & "I'd drive him back myself" are statements you'd surely only use if you knew the player very well. To only a couple of days post something negative about him based on a YouTube video, I just found it amusing/ intriguing. I'd be ****ing ecstatic if he is as good as he's being said to be.
Yes because those examples are similar aren't they... Changing your mind is one thing, but as drastically and sudden as that with no evidence (like perhaps watching him play) is hilarious.
Whilst I agree that I doubt we'll play 3 at the back, it's not because it's known to be suicidal. Liverpool are a well known advocate of 3 at the back with Brendan using it in over half their games this season. They finished 6th. Probably would've been higher if they spent their money a bit better. With the right personnel and the right manager (aka not Bruce or Hull) it'd work.
Yup, think that too. Could easily switch between that and a 4 3 3 which we ve already played a fair amount. Then, another thread pops up, and, strongly inferring knowledge, you want him in - he's brilliant. What evidence was there inbetween to make you change your mind? You'd seen a YouTube video, didn't like him, hadn't seen him play again, & days later you've completely reversed your opinion. To be fair THT81, if you're going to go around sneering at people over their football knowledge, or lack of, then you're not going to come across well.
