I'm hearing this is close to being done. It's a dry unconditional obligatory loan followed by an optional conditional purchase obligation with conditional installments depending on optional clauses.
Romano has said it’s almost done for him to go to the Middle East. Just a fee to agree - which may not happen of course but Romano rarely gets it’s wrong (although he does at times). But I’m sure he speaks with decent knowledge either way.
Of course. I’m just saying that Romano commenting on it is a fairly big indication of the direction of travel.
I’m going to take a wild punt at this and say it’s not happening. The chances are that we have made a very provisional enquiry in case Sarr leaves for wads of Grealish cash.
We went over this a few weeks ago in the transfer suggestions thread - Romano will post pretty much any old speculative crap now.
Nope. You made a point a few weeks ago - just because you said it, doesn’t mean we all agreed with it!
Perhaps this was a smokescreen and we’re really interested in not being able to afford the other Pereira at Utd the Pozzos took him on loan before
It’s a good sign of his commitment though. Any of these players in their prime that chase the Middle East or Chinese cash and leave behind actual career progression are really just putting a massive warning sign around their necks.
It makes you wonder how much cash a person actually needs, he surely could’ve still done this closer to the end of his career if he’s the desperate to accumulate cash at the expense of absolutely everything else.
