Spot on. Reservations about things are fine but today is a great day with the signing we all know can make a big difference
In other news, a Watford fan was found hanging from a bridge earlier today. Police have not yet identified the man, but eyewitnesses have stated the fan's shirt had "Eltonhorn" emblazoned on the back.
Decided to take a look at the WBA forums to see what they made of him for a laugh Because Oscar, Cazorla etc are terrible cos they aren't strong. He's talking about how Fraizer Campbell is better than Vydra. Posted at the start of last season before the loan signing was confirmed. Haha.
Completely pointless W Brom playing Vyds as lone striker, I could have told them he would be rubbish. He was.
Finally we've become a club able to tie a player down to a restrictive contract until he gives in and agrees to play for us. I'm both pleased and proud. Baby's all grown up. :smiley-sport029:
West Brom. Who scored 43 goals in the whole of last season. The problem is how poor their whole squad was not Vydra's physique.
Well, it only took 31 pages of pointless drivel for this thread to become worthwhile... I'm indifferent to his return at this point. Of course I'm glad we've brought back someone with as much potential as him and someone who has proven in the past to perform so well with this squad and in this league and I do hope and expect he'll do well again, but I can't help have reservations about his attitude and how badly his form dropped off in the second half of the season with us, as well as the small impact he had at WBA, though not entirely his fault.
Lovely news could not believe it when I saw it today! Back to being as excited as I was at the start of last season!
I think a lot of fans forget that prior to joining us he'd recovered from a serious knee injury and barely played for over 18 months, the fact he was looking lethargic by February shouldn't have been too much of a surprise
Looks a bit overweight there. Might have to play him in defence or even goalie if hes lost a yard of pace
Didn't see this before, BRLR. Are you thinking of someone else? Don't think I'd done a Vydra vid before... Here's the new one anyway.
Would have preferred it to be Tozser we confirmed today, and despite still having serious concerns, and despite knowing he'd rather be somewhere else, he is back, and I do have a tingling sense of excitement. I hope he proves himself, and I don't give a dam if he wants to go somewhere else after this season, so long as he doesn't go awol after January. Come on the Otter! PS. Sqibbs, if that invite was for me, watch out for me at the end of your bed one dark lonely winter night, combing my hairy tongue so it doesn't get snaggled on your pewbs:naughty:
Cue the usual pocket of supporters in RS4 to boo his every touch, ruining any hope of taking advantage of what could be our best season in decades.
watching that video he really is an exciting talent and such a range of finishes in his locker... so glad he's back. GAME ON!!
From what I remember, he said he's looking forward to the challenge, wants to help us get promoted. He knows there will be extra pressure on him this time round, but he says that he enjoys the extra pressure. He finished off saying that everyone kept on commenting on his Instagram saying come back home to Watford, so he did.
If he doesn't get 5 in his first 5 games his lack of commitment will be clear and he'll deserve the relentless boos directed his way.
Good signing. Still a couple away from looking like we'd have enough to really cause trouble in this league. Desperate for an imposing midfielder and commanding center back. It'll be very interesting to see what formation we line up with.
