This Trotta bloke is turning out be a legend on this forum, can we have a statue or at least name the new East Stand after him please.
Sod that, let's see if we can loan their Michael Jackson statue off them, more mobile than Iwelumo IMO.
I'm not his biggest fan, but Im honest enough to say Iwelumo had a good game last night, why choose today to have a pop at him?
Fair enough fella, maybe I was over defensive, but there just seem too be too many people taking a pop at our own players, consider our transfer pot and wage restrictions and compare that to say Leicester City and you will see we are actually punching above our weight. The people who moan at Loach, Forsyth, Yeates, ****inson etc. never come up with a viable replacement, who would then have to a/ be available, b/ be within our budget and c/ want to come to us.
There really are some ******* on here. Slagging off a (potential) signing as being slow from a short clip on utug. And where is he cos on 8th Feb he was 'definately gonna sign'? (Sits back and waits for predictable backlash about democratic forum etc).....
Plus my favourite mythical Watford players, Sietes and Junior. Sietes could have been the greatest left back since Wilf Rostron. Instead he just became a Steve Brookstein impersonator.
Pretty sure there was a video of him scoring a couple of goals earlier on in this thread...? Anyway, hope he does well, but also hope that if he's not doing any good Dyche won't feel forced to play him ahead of the likes of Massey.
Only joking with you mate, he looks a good prospect and knows where the goal is....in league 1. Hopefully he continues with his scoring record.
Probably the worst kept secret of any previous WFC signings! But good news, we certainly need more firepower so this is a good signing.
Dychey may not be too hot with his permanent signings, but he has been incredibly astute in the loan market. Kightly, Nosworthy(originally on loan), Kacaniklic, Kuszczak and now Trotta (Ok, we'll forget Beattie). These are all real quality players. Fantasitc piece of business, yet again.
Starting to pull together a pretty good team. Should be an interesting finish to the season, be nice to finish in the top 10.
I am quite excited by this signing, I have a feeling he is going to be **** hot!!! Lets hope my feeling is correct Could we yet make the playoffs?
At last! This has been a long time coming, it's been a fantastic week for us in the loan market. He's only here for a month, but as it's a youth loan am I right in thinking that if he performs and Fulham agree, we can keep extending it. Does the 93 day rule still apply?
Think top 10 is a more realistic goal considering Burnley are 7 Points ahead of us and we got a few tough games left (Saints, West Ham etc)
Before people get too carried away with playoff talk, on average you need at least 73 points. We're on 40. We'd have to win at least 11 of our last 14 matches to achieve that. But with these two additions it should banish any possibility of relegation, which is a fantasitc thing to know. I reckon we need just 3 more wins to be safe, judging by the points total of the bottom 4. What is also very good, is Watford's ability to use the loan market this effectively. This is great credit to Dyche and Wilson and bodes well for the future, as this will be a major strategy for Watford next season.
Meridensi will go to the grave misunderstood. We are truly blessed, but we are all too often reluctant to admit it.
