If Daley Campbell is still on the 2nd hall we just have to attack him from the start

So we couldn't see due to heavy snow last time and now we can't see due to no lights.

Funny that this is a cup game yet almost sums up our league season so far in 60 minutes

We probably need two more centre backs this window in addition to Samir + a new goalkeeper

Haha, two quality players in Tielemans and Maddison was enough to put us away.

The defence is just laughably below par, it cannot be said enough times. Cathcart was terrible.

Make no mistake about it, that's a Leicester 11 that would be fighting relegation if they turned up every week in the league and they comfortably smashed us.

A dire performance. Cathcart was an absolute disgrace today. That he plays week in week out is the best illustration of our squad mismanagement.

Please can we just not be subjected to having to see Sema or Kucka in the lineup next week.

Pedro had a great game, get him in the starting lineup next week.

Sensible decision to rest the talent, as we will need them in the league. Disappointing to see Newcastle and Burnley also ditching the cup to concentrate on the relegation fight. Let’s hope Norwich are foolish enough to fancy a fourth round tie.

Would rather them try and win something then scrape survival.

    Controversial I know.

I don't think we were ever going to win this game, and I'm absolutely fine with that, we simply aren't in a position to compete. Gifting a penalty within the first 10 minutes is unforgivable though and these constant brain dead errors are more or less meaning we are pretty much starting about 2-0 down every single game. I know it won't be, but for a lot of these players this should be the final time we see them, most should have been moved on in the summer, keeping them at the club will probably cost us our Premier league status.

Another embarrassing, pathetic performance from the woeful losers that make up our squad.

    God help us.

Pleased we're out. It's a blessing. However, I'm losing faith in Ranieri.

That's SEVEN defeats on a row, and 10 defeats from 12. No matter how limited the squad is, how bad the decisions have been against us etc......he's got to be doing a lot better than that.

Had Barrow or Cambridge played Leicester today, they'd have done a lot better I suspect. We are just not a team and I don't see Ranieri making enough of an improvement. I just don't the signs of it.

I don't even mind being in The Championship that much, the saddest part for me will be losing Joao Pedro for peanuts.

He made a few mistakes as he's raw but what a brilliant player he could go on to be.

Not being funny but I genuinely think that any of the Championship teams still in the Cup would have done better than us today.. And our starting lineup wasn’t exactly far off from our regular weekly lineup.

    Worrying..

Good effort from the boys against PL opposition and the current holders. Don’t think we can be too critical when playing a team from two leagues above us and the level of players they have like Will Alves and *checks notes* Harvey ‘Wallbanger’ Barnes.

Credit to the lads for keeping going til the end and keeping warm when the lights went out.

Sell Sarr and Dennis before him.
Very raw as you say but make a space in the team for him.

Easily trashed by Leicester Reserves and we had almost a first team out with the players available.
As some have said, worrying times ahead.

We concede another 4 goals! I know it's the cup but our lineup was first team + Morris and Fletcher. Our discipline and fight have gone out the window and we look jokingly soft and flimsy.

Rubbish. Morris looked good for a debut - he can cross the ball better than Masina and hits it with pace. Ngakia played well today as did Fletcher before he was hooked off. Tufan, Bachmann and Cathcart were the worst of the lot. THFC did himself no favors with an awful tackle for their penalty which set the flow of the game. Nice goal from Pedro but it was nothing more than a consolation on another day where we were meekly exposed time and time again at the back. We have the new boys for Newcastle at least. Nice to see some of our lesser known players get some minutes despite the result. Really cannot think of much else to say really. Thank god we are out nice and early, Shame two of our three relegation rivals did the same.

Like any Cup defeat, whatever the opponent, there'll be a lot of bedwetting before it's quickly forgotten the next day--unfortunately, it's the way of the world that we had no chance of winning this thing, but this result will have no bearing on our league destiny

We have a huge number of players in our squad who simply shouldn’t be given anymore game time.

Bachmann, Cathcart, Ngakia, Tufan, Kucka, Gosling, Fletcher, Sema…even Sierralta looks all at sea at this level so far (but he at least deserves more time I think).

That’s a huge number of players to be plodding along with. Two of our 3 signings so far look of questionable quality too…

Fairly even game on balance but we are just so easy to score against.

happy to lose and be out of the cup but as others have said we’re a soft touch

That many first team players should not be getting turned over like that. Performance and result will definitely knock confidence.

Said this in the shoutbox but I think it's unfair to give him too much stick at this point.

He was great in the Championship, but he's only 24, has never played at this level, has had an injury hit season, probably isn't fully fit and up to speed yet, and is stuck next to either Crapfart or Troost-Emong, with calamity Bachmann behind him.

He's been poor at times (although really he did fine overall against Spurs/Kane), but there's at least a chance with him that he'll come good. Unlike Cathcart, who was still the worst of the two today, and needs to be put down.

Did Tufan contribute anything? Serious question, as soon as I saw Tufan in the line up I feared the worst, like playing with 10 men? I didn't bother going up there today, thought I would 'save' myself for the Newcastle & Burnley, sounds like the team did as well?
