There’s never a bad time to beat those cunning Foxes. Look at the underhand methods they’ve resorted to against us, dodgy penalties, arranging blizzard conditions, generally being better than us…etc.

Stronger than expected. Not mad about it, I think getting any kind of win and confidence around the club is more important than resting players to be honest, given we have a weeks rest.

 

Plus - Leicester’s line-up belies the story that they could barely field a team, let alone a strong one. Sure they have a couple of kids playing and their bench is full of them - but the starting line-up is strong.

Leicester's line up has a few names I've never heard of and squad numbers up to 62. Presume they're young defenders as still look quite strong upfront. The Fletch is going to eat them for breakfast.

 

Got to try and get at that Leicester back line. Certainly the weak point of their side. Although I've not got much hope with Fletcher up top.

 

We're going to get stuffed. Having said that, happy with the line-up, apart from Dracula being in goal.

 

I would love us to have a cup run. This and the League Cup is the only thing we can realistically win even if that’s unlikely.

I've got some bad news, that is in positional order. A front three of Cucho, Sierralta and Morris is certainly interesting from Ranieri.

I think you're forgetting who's in charge at Leicester. Questioning his integrity is bang out of order.

 

That Daley-Campbell should be off. That’s the one negative about the five subs, Rodgers will take him off now I would imagine and still have 4 more changes left. Mike Dean has been completely against us as well, I normally think he’s quite good when he refs us.

 

We’ve once again shown, our second string forward line can still create chances and score goals (I understand the Leicester back 4 isn’t very good), and that our defence is the issue.

Brilliant goal from us, great finish from João, who trumped Maddison’s chipped finish just 90 seconds before. Still in this tie.
