He'd be a great signing - just the kind of speedy creative player we're lacking and can play as a wing-back or attacking winger on either flank. He'd soon make us forget Berghuis, Abdi and Jurado ever existed.
triffic 2 wing backs bought in the summer, now we need another one presumably because the ones we bought are 5hit, or crocked, or both (not knocking Kenedy btw he's a great prospect)
Pozzos finally resorted to raising the dead I see. On a serious not this would be great. Chalobah, Bellerin, Ake, and Kennedy is a pretty good track record.
There's a joke in here somewhere surely?
Yeah. Wholeheartedly agree. For a Championship team. Two things I don't like about it:1, He's not good enough for Chelsea; and 2, yet again we are getting excited about developing Premier League players for some other team (and Bournemouth next season). I think this is a sign of how difficult Gino is finding transfer dealing in the PL. He will get there, but in the mean time, I am not going to get excited about the idea of signing a player on loan from Chelsea, no matter how good he is, that will block our own development and possibly demotivate our own players (he's apparently coming here with some sort of playing guarantee, as his reason for the loan is that he won't get games at Chelsea). Not the player I would be disappointed with, just this continuing Championship policy of taking loans from the competition.
I think you're yet again talking absolute *******s. We signed Ake who was brilliant for us and helped us stay in the league. This guy is arguably better than Ake and certainly better than any young player we've got coming through so who cares if he goes back to Chelsea next summer? If he helps us achieve our target this season then honestly does it really matter?
Chelsea signed him last season to a lot of fanfare. Would be very surprised if you'd not heard of him. I've personally never seem him play, but what I do know is he's definitely a legend.
100% spot on accurate & correct. Also we get to see an exciting & talented player in a Watford shirt for a season. What's not to like?
And Holebas was arguably better than Ake. And wouldn't it be better for us if we had a decent player for a season in whatever role Kenedy will play who will be our player at the end of it to keep for next season, or sell for much moolah. Does it matter? If it holds back team development or disrupts team morale then yes, and, just like with Ake (who was great for much of last year) it will do those things to one extent or another, particularly if he is guaranteed games. And I don't care what you think of my opinion, it won't stop me from having it or voicing it. Your posts seem to indicate that you think you can ward off evil by attempting to beat down any mention of things you most likely fear yourself. If you discussed the posts you react to, rather than denounce them like some sort of Watford Inquisition, you may actually come across as a serious person. Come on you 'Orns!
Thank you, thank you. Someone gets my point. It's not easy, this situation shows that, but we will get there. Me and UEA agree on something!
2 things, Is this Kenedy loan bid related to the Monaco bid for Doucoure? I hope not as I want to see him play and think he will add to our team. Secondly, Holebas will be pi**ed for the 2nd season in a row if he is used in his position and looses his place to a loanee again! Not keen on this possible deal.
The club's been woefully short of tattoos since Diamanti left. Pereyra & Kenedy should help address this problem.
