I wouldn't mind. This guy could be fantastic. So could Berghuis, of course, but I reckon Jurado has more proven quality.
Agreed. This is our first signing this window of a player who does his work primarily in the final third. Almen's place in the squad isn't threatened at all but we've had no-one of his quality to challenge him and cover for him when he's out. Now we have and we need/so expect more yet. Another couple to include an outright winger (and maybe including Gueds) should complete the jigsaw. These are the most exciting signings of all.
Mybe the best that Jurado can do is better than the best that Gueds can do, but Gueds would seem to be more of an all-rounder. Jurado looks like a great attacker, but with a level of defensive commitment and ability that rivals Magoo's. Does that matter? We'll find out next month.
Could be wrong but just been at the ground and seen two males leaving in a chauffeur driven car. One of the males looked very much like Jurado. Hopefully finishing touches to signing.
I saw this on another forum So he might not have been signed as a starter, but someone to put on when ove of the attacking midfielders is injured or we need a tactical change.
His apparent 6 million fee that both WD Sports and a few admittedly dodgy looking Russian twitter pages have suggested means to me he'll be a starter on the LW. Ofcourse the fee could be wrong but if it's not would the Pozzo's pay that much for a backup?!
Quite. Also it looks like he's a player Flores knows, trusts & has specifically asked for. Straight into the side IMO

Completely agreed, he will be a starter. He was one of the best young prospects in Europe at one point, really not sure what happened at Schalke for him and why they sold him. In my opinion he's on another level to anything we've had for a long, long while(and I'm including Ashley Young). Already one of my favourite players before he joined us, although admittedly I don't know much of his time at Spartak, hopefully he didn't have any nasty injuries which have affected him. If this fella is still as good as I remember he'll rip defences apart!
Had a quick look at Jurado on wiki and apparently he's been ours since 3 days ago and he's signed a four-year-deal. Someone is having a giggle. Amusing.
