Was also told by the same source that he wouldn't be at all surprised if no one ended up coming in for Dennis. His attitude apparently is very well known across football and this source felt that there were at least 4 to 5 forwards of similar ability that are looking for moves that clubs would more likely go for ahead of him. Heard this from a bloke who would know what's going on in the transfer world so a case of watching this space. Personally think this would bring pains on for us as its one thing having Dennis playing when he's trying to impress for a move but another if he's stuck here and not got the move he wanted. Only plus would be he would need to be in form for the world Cup to again try and impress.

Our work with Bayat as I have consistently said is the cause for considerable concern. But bringing in the fact that the financial base as you say is Luxembourg seems a butt of a stretch. Luxembourg is a real business hub for tax reasons and a considerable number of major business have their European hub there. Due to the considerable flow of foreign business activity that goes through Luxembourg, on many AML issues Luxembourg has more stringent laws than the rest of the EU.
You seem to very knowledgeable on that. Not heard anyone talk about the connection to Luxembourg before... And a lot has been said and claimed! I think everyone is right to be worried about the connection to Bayat if he is going to be in big trouble. Would the club itself get into bother should he be found guilty at some point?
I'd imagine that the deals are constructed in such a way that it's virtually impossible for the club or Gino to be held accountable if any wrong doing has taken place. The achilles heel would be if Mogi has evidence of wrong doing. But I think we can be pretty confident he aint gonna talk! My concern isnt that the club will have a problem if Bayat gets convicted and he may well not be convicted. Its that vast sums of money have been borrowed by the club and £10s of millions have been transferred out of the club via transactions involving a suspected money launderer. WFC has very little to show for its 9 figure debt. Im concerned some people might have benefitted much more from our loans/debt/PL money than we have.

If you're not concerned about the well being of the club and its medium term future, thats your choice. But its kinda weird that u have issues with someone who is worried about our 9 figure debt and our main agent being prosecuted for money laundering!!
Yes I’m concerned about our debt (just the genuine 3rd party debt) and the fact we do a lot of business with an agent who is facing legal action. Other than that on balance I’m quite happy with our second most successful owner. 5 year stays in the top league have come round twice 30 odd years apart so no guarantees next owner will be successful like Elton/Pozzo rather another Bonser/Petchey/Bassini. Would be delighted if a Elton led consortium took over though no guarantees that would bank roll us back to long term life in the prem.

Lessons learnt gag again!! Sounds like this kid is a talent so don’t see why we wouldn’t sign him but this doesn’t stop us trying to get a defender in at the same time. LCB’s are a bit thin on the ground though so not convinced we will get one. If we don’t though it’s nothing to do with this deal
